My county is in lockdown...

That how things are and the rules are set by govt can't do much about it. and in India most of the people live with the parents. So we don't want to risk their lives just for the sake of our social life.

Just work from home and chill.

People who cannot work from home ??? This is a pity ...

this virus not going anywhere it will stay with us forever

and one day cure will come.

Stay with us forever or a cure will come?

The virus will be defeated in 2021 when a safe and tested vaccine is released.

Not all states will have immediate access to the vaccine (I guess T1 countries first) but slowly it will be available to all.

Stay strong for a few more months.

Looks like shit is about to hit the fan.
Take care of yourself guys.
Stay strong.

Everyone has there own "opinion" on what is going on with COVID-19. Personally, I believe it was planned and I think it is a fear campaign followed to manipulate that masses. Why, I'm not sure but I truly think it most of it will go away after the USA election.

I've attached some informative charts for anyone interested in reading.

There is a whole other side to effects of COVID that I think are much harsher and nothing is being reported about it:
- Kids are experiencing psychological and emotional trauma from being isolated and masked
- Domestic abuse has increased drastically
- Sexual abuse has increased drastically
- Suicide rates are heavily increased
- Small businesses are being wiped our by the thousands
- The fabric of society is being demoralized and shredded apart.

You are all entitled to your own opinion, here are just some of the facts that lead to why I hold my opinion.

The models were astronomically incorrect. Some models predicted 2.2 Million deaths in the USA! Nations are responding as though those models have proven true, but they haven't.

Here is a link to the model claiming 2.2 Million deaths

There was a lack of difference between those that died WITH Covid and FROM Covid. Once published, the data sets change significantly.
6perc-co-mornid.jpeg

The media et. al keep pushing "Cases" and "Deaths" why don't they publish and report on SURVIVAL RATES?!?
Seriously, there is better than a 99.9% rate of surviving COVID...

The percentage rates drop for those that are 70+ and unhealthy. It's not unrealistic or out of the ordinary for old and sick people to die.

survivalrates.jpeg

COVID-19 has, according to the WHO, been the most effective cure for Influenza.
They share, essentially, the same symptoms.
flu 2019-2020.png

The total US Deaths year over year are essentially, unchanged. In 2019 there were only 2.5 months of "COVID" season. In 2018 and 2020, the numbers are off by 1000 but in 2018, there were no lockdowns during flu seasons. One can argue the numbers are lower BECAUSE of the lock downs, masks and protocols. The reality is, we can't measure.

TotalDeathsUSA.png

Again, just *MY* opinion. The above is just a sample of what is NOT being reported on. There is a ton more available if you get outside the mainstream or government sponsored media.

In my country they talk about these problems every day. On TV & newspapers.

COVID kills olders and people with chronic diseases.
Olders have 90% dead rates.
In my country (TIER 1 with a superlative Healthcare system), in the first 3 months of COVID, have been x5 times dead compared with the second world war.
3 months VS 5 years (of world war).
5 times more dead.
COVID kills.
Period.

So this has gone from my County back in September to now all of Wales will be under a "circuit breaker" or some other bullshit nonsense keyword they are using I think even "fire break" is being used - dunno where the fire is..

This will start this Friday for all of 2 weeks... (I figure will be longer) but after the 1 week school holidays Primary and Year 7 & 8 secondary will go back to school so all kids 3-4 to 12-13 will be in school after a week.

They can't control social distancing outside of school now (not the school fault as it happens off school grounds when parents collect children) so unsure the point it's going to make..

The key points / take aways:

  • People must work from home unless they are critical workers
  • All non-essential retail, gyms, leisure centres, bars, restaurants and hospitality must close
  • Community centres, libraries and recycling centres will close
  • All indoor and outdoor gatherings with people you don't live with are banned
  • Primary schools will reopen after half term but secondaries will shut for all but Years Seven and Eight
EDIT

If you take the office of national statistics with a pinch of salt

The current infection rates continue to be highest among secondary-school-aged children and 17 to 24-year-olds. There are now signs of growth among 25 to 69-year-olds, but not in those aged 70 or older.

There is also evidence of higher infection rates in the North East, North West, and Yorkshire and The Humber, which have all seen steep increases in recent weeks.

We estimate that 7,900 people in Wales had COVID-19 during the same period, which is around 1 in 390 people. The estimate shows there is some evidence that positivity rates may now have levelled off, although uncertainty is high.

In Northern Ireland, during the most recent two weeks 25 September to 8 October, we estimate that 0.41% had COVID-19, which is around 1 in 250 people.

IF you dive deeper the current or main infection rate and testing is between 18 and 28 year olds. Yet you have this age group (no offence to them) saying lockdowns are a waste of fucking time, does not effect me blah blah blah

So what does that tell you? If that age group actually kept a "distance" or stopped going for a fucking test every time you get the sniffles then maybe we would not be in this mess to start with. I'm by no means point fingers at anybody or any age, heath condition or fitness level. Just this thing or testing is not limited too OAPs... Yeah you might recover and your granny might die but testings are up because there is a specific group going for testing..

Just the rate of "infection" vs "testing age group" and then "infected age group" these kind of numbers need to start being pointed out or highlighted in the media and briefings rather than going for the cheap win of it's getting worse.

I don't know how the hell the ONS can put out a stat of age group between 25 and 69... I mean what kind of sample pool is that?

That is good to hear. I don't see/hear anything about it in North American News

The numbers I listed in my post are based on USA testing and data.

My question is, have they died WITH Covid or FROM Covid? Does you country differentiate between the 2 definitions?

"COVID kills olders and people with chronic diseases."
"Olders have 90% dead rates."

- Your country has such a high death rate in that group while other countries have a +94% survival rate in patients 70+ years old... something seems odd here.
- Unfortunately, older people die, in the USA the patients had on average 2.6 OTHER conditions. That is why they should have elderly quarantined and let the rest of us go about our business.

Covid is still what is causing the deaths. Claiming otherwise is like claiming if a hemophiliac is shot then they didn't die from being shot since they had a preexisting condition.

Well no that's not 100% accurate is it.

If someone has cancer but they could get treatment to cure it but can't due to COVID.

Did they die of Cancer or Covid?

Because at the moment they are being counted as a death due to COVID (i.e Covid virus killed them) but that's not what caused it. There is a big difference in regards to death reporting.

COVID can be a contributing factor without being the cause of death, in my opinion (based on data from the CDC)

Dying from advanced terminal cancer WITH COVID in your system isn't the same as dying FROM COVID with a small spot of newly found skin Cancer on your body.

According to the CDC Pre-existing conditions (average of 2.6 co-morbidities per death) are 94% of the deaths.
Only 6% of the deaths are without per-existing conditions, many of whom are elderly most of which are in Elderly Care facilities.

Families in the USA have reported family members dying from a fatal automobile collision and having COVID listed as the cause of death.
There is good money in have diagnosed patients in your facilities. The gov't in the USA pays a premium for COVID Patients.

Death FROM or WITH should be stipulated, imo.

I'm not sure, specifically, what you are seeking proof on.

If it's the fact that only 6% of the 153,504 deaths were from COVID without co-morbid conditions, the CDC published the report. **these numbers were from August.**

The most current numbers can be found here:
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/...9tOHPGAHWFVO3DfslkJ0KsDEPQpWmPbKtp6EsoVV2Qs1Q
Here is a chart with the co-morbidities, patients had on average 2.9 (up from 2.6 in Aug.) of these conditions IN ADDITION to COVID, it's from the link above

It doesn't matter that they had other conditions, it was covid which killed them.

Snopes is a complete pile of shite.. who-the-f believes anything from them anyway? It's just a website, like any other website, that can say what they want.

Case in point:

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/hillary-clinton-smash-phone-hammer/
Did Hilary smash her phone with a hammer to avoid getting caught?

Answer from Snopes: "mixture"

Why?: Because she didn't physically smash it herself, but there is a high likelihood she got someone else to smash it.. it's almost humorous if it wasn't so fucking ridiculous. It's a shill website and people just go "well, if Snopes says it.." jesus

LOL ~ S N O P E S ~
"Did CDC ‘Quietly Update’ COVID-19 Deaths To Say Only 6% Are Legitimate?"
SNOPES: Lets make-up a title and NOT reference it for the rest of the article and call it FALSE.

Did you even read that article?!?

As of this writing, the CDC last updated its mortality statistics on Sept. 3, 2020. At that point, the agency said 171,787 death certificates included COVID-19 since the beginning of the U.S. outbreak in February 2020. And alongside the coronavirus, the majority of documents also listed comorbidities, or additional health issues that can either worsen or develop after the initial SARS-CoV-2 infection. For instance, 71,700 included influenza or pneumonia and COVID-19 as potential causes of death.

However, fueling the conspiracy theory, the CDC web page stated:

“For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause [of death] mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.”

HAHAHA - SNOPES:
Snopes claim "false" but, reference, literally, verbatim, the facts from CDC and post them in the article.

It sucks for the small business, i went today in a complex and the guys at a market store said he barely makes anything since the flux of people reduced to over 85%. And everyone is affected by this some people barely making rent pay and some are already homeless, and people are getting fired left and right and becoming homeless everyday because of this. So...now you tell me, how many People corona kills....or how many go suicide because of corona restrictions? And is it worth it to keep us locked down? Is it worth it? ....smh
