Hello Everyone,


I have been working my ass off making original content made by myself and then suddenly a website stole my content.. All of it. no edits nothing at all. May I know how should I ask the person who owns the blog to remove my content. Or should I report the owner to any authority?

Please shoot some idea.

The website does not have contact us page!

Good thing for your case. Hopefully someone can direct me to next step on reporting this webmaster. I did a who is query and it the domain was registered on godaddy.com

Did it give the name and address of the person that registered the domain?
 
Just whine to godaddy, they'll know the domain owner anyways then.
 
Checkout the domain owner and their hosting company by looking up WHOIS here http://whois.sc/site.com

Contact their hosting company and they'll shut them down.

I tried to submit the spam report to go daddy and got the error that Offending domain name is not registered or hosted. What is my next step.

Nope it did not give out any information as to who registered the domain.
 
ask webmaster to remove the copy right content and use copyscape
if he/she ignore you

Write them about that domain and they'll shut it down.. Looks like the theft is hosted on VPS :)
 
Hello, my content get copied all the time i just search for full prashes using "" and when i see that someone used my content i just email them and tell them that this content is copyrighted so they have 3 options

1)Remove the content
2)Just add the original source url
3)That i will have to report them and get their site banned

They usually go with the option 2, that is also beneficial for me (i get backlinks + traffic)!

P.S: I had never any case of google ban cause of duplicate content cause someone just copied my articles, serps of theese articles are stable

Hello thanks for your this. I checked the offending website and it has no contact page nor any email address. i thought of the thing you usually do but unfortunately, it is not available on the site.

I contacted their hosting company.

If Peter is offering a response within one hour of contact for something like this I would be super impressed.

You're getting hosed, no doubt, but for the hosting service to offer a response inside of one hour for copied contact... I think that would be above and beyond the call.

Is the owner of the hosting company a BHW member? I would go a head and PM hi if possible.

If you have already emailed his company that is sufficient. I would not PM him; in fact I actually have his cell number and would not call him if it was my site that was copied... I would just go through the channels he has set up.

Part of the reason there are channels set up for things are so that the provider of the service can track things properly and if the company has a system in place it is best to go that route.
