My competitor flooded my website with bad backlinks?

Hello guys i want to ask you about this situation.

scren.jpgi found out that my website has weird over +1000 links from urls like the ones you see in the screenshot i didnt check them using ahref or semrush yet .. so im asking you guys is this bad or what i should do ?
i asked Ai and it says i have to disavow them on search console , thats it ? or i should do something else ?
this actually did fucked my ranking (so far -20%) .. wondering how to fix it

You can disown the links if you want or just ignore them if they are not hurting your rankings, you gotta make sure ranking drop is coming from those link. Use a seo tool like semrush to compare when the link started appearing and when rankings drop. Google's official position on spam links is to ignore them.
If I knew someone was doing this to my site then i would have done something about it, dmca, gdpr non complient complain etc.

When a website is new and doesn't have many good links, running it through junk databases will completely destroy it in a short time. Be sure to check the console daily and submit all detected bad domains for removal.
 
Newbie here. Can I ask what tool you used to check all the links pointing back to your site, like your backlinks?
 
It's best to disavow them and constantly monitor your site. Spam backlinks can destroy your rankings forever.

The screenshot in OP is from Google search console. You can also get backlink profile from SEO tools like Ahrefs and Semrush.

1. You need to disavow them in GSC.
2. Check those links. If they look spammy, try to make a complaint in Google search.
3. If even the domains look spammy and low-quality, you can file a complaint against the entire domain. You can also look up the domain registrar and file a complaint with them as well.
