My BHW Account is Under Attack

I'm good, on the other hand f**k Google! They almost had me locked out of my account, I entered my password and they wouldn't let me in asking to answer stupid questions about the account which I couldn't remember. Luckily the recovery question worked.

A 2008 account like yours thats in regular useage wouldnt be on the target list. The are looking for 2008 accounts that are no longer used and are mostly dormant.

They took a chance on popcrdom29 account and found he still used it.

Not putting my tin hat on but you can spot a few odd accounts knocking about. Some big dogs would see the value of an aged vip account for example.
 
Same thing happened to me last night. Someone is trying to do a mass hack
 
Actually this is something that needs to be taken very seriously.
There are many accounts that were created in large numbers with bots in the early days that were created just to have an URL set as the homepage.
These accounts have then been dormant since being created.
I found a small number early this morning here

These are the types of aged accounts that can be hacked and then people pay some muppet on a freelancing site to post 100 nonsense posts, then the accounts are sold.
After being sold they will become JrVIP to either start a crap sales thread or used by unscrupulous Marketplace sellers to boost their current sales threads.
 
You should be okay account-wise if our password isn't 123456.

If for whatever reason one of these people/bots get in, just contact me via the support channels and I'll sort you out.
 
Yep happens every now and then. Thats why we lock it for 15 mins after 5 failed attempts. This means a brute force won't work. Unless
1. your password is password! @W130SN ;)
2. They get VERY lucky
3. They have a few thousand years.

just check for suspicious people around your office and home :)

From the Noobs point of view" pro pic" .Maybe the attacker is so desperate to put some hairs back to your baldness.
 
just make sure u have a long password for bhw say 30+ all mixed
up/lower letters / mixed symbols ect , tie the email to your phone as
well... sorted
 
Mine also lol but my password 45 char with special char, etc, etc, so bring on mr. Ching (or mrs...)

Same here, 2 IP's, 10 failed attempts, about an hour ago, so I guess its a larger attack.
 
Thank you for warning us. My password wasn't strong enough so I set it to Fort Knox strength like other people here. Will be enough hopefully :)
Oh, and I'm new anyway, so I don't think anyone cares about my account, but Jr Vips...
 
Posted and got the failed attempt email about 20 minutes later. From ip 183.222.171.30
