Someone is desperately trying to hack into my BHW account. So far there are 20 failed attempts, got the "Failed Attempts" email from BHW. Every 5th attempt was from a different IP address.

I have a strong password, nothing common at all. What are the chances of someone hacking into my account?

Anyone else getting this?

If they have a super computer and a spare 1000 years they might be able to brute force your account. Make sure your password has special characters like $^*% and your email account has 2-step verification and you'll be fine.

Thanks guys. I changed it to something even stronger with special characters. The attempts are still ongoing. I'll contact a MOD to see if anything can be done.

Don't know why anyone would want to hack my account anyway, not like I'm a superstar or anyone special.

As Jackie Chan would say "My Kung Fu is Strong"

strange i am not getting fail attempts notice from bhw for fail login attempts :-(

I got an email as well, so you're not the only lucky one;)

Its matter of Concern.! Contract a MOD to Ban Those IP so that if they are using any ID personally they cant run their personal account. This should be penalty.

Thank you for enlightening us with such wonderful information in such a concise and understandable way:rolleyes:

That's how technology works, yeah? You have a problem so you call someone else to wave their magic wand and all your problems are fixed?

Sounds sketchy! I guess once your post count gets to a certain point there is value in your account that people want to take advantage of. If I notice you posting nudes in a couple of days time Ill assume the worst. :D

It's weird that there is no policy in this case since this is a good way to spam a user's mailbox

Somebody is targeting 2008 accounts specifically.

They are doing that because they are aged but will also have the probability of lifetime JR Vip applied.

There is also a good chance that the member is no longer active and so wont even realise they have lost their account.

Obviously an account like that has good monetary value so there is a marketplace for them.
