My affiliate planning/story, is it doable?

So i read about affiliate marketing for the past 2 years or so, and now (1week ago) started my own site. The site is in the tech niche/ electronics and the prices of the products is anywhere from US 100-900 with 8% revenue. The keyword is pretty trending and im already on the second page of google in one of my keywords.

Anyways, the site is a simple webpage/blog and my main focus is to write quality articles ranging from 1500-3500 words about a specific products.

The plan is to get all my traffic from pure SEO and thats about it.

Do you think its duable to only submit simple articles, rank high and make a profit out of it? There currently 3-5 affiliate pages on the front page of googles but its a pretty small niche.

Do you got any tips that i should focus on except SEO and quality articles? And are these sites still working? Can you still make profit simply reviewing for example gaming monitors?

Profits so far is 0, but i will update if i make some.

I would be interested to know if anyone has any success with this quick and dirty method too. The only person I know who made money from affiliate sites with pretty bad sites made like 500 a month USD. If you just did reviews of products (which you probably haven't really used given how expensive they are and likely having to rip off other reviews) I am not sure if you are going to make lots of money with that. I would keep trying it though just to see and if it's not costing you a lot of money it would be a good learning experience. I am also starting an affiliate marketing site but it's more of an authority site where I provide niche related valuable content (think for example a website which tells you how to fish then links the fishing rods I recommend as opposed to just reviewing fishing rods). My issue with tech is it's been pretty done to death and there is no gap in the market unless you do some truly unique original content such as teaching people how to build a unique type of ultra portable PC then link to the parts or build a PC that operates in liquid or something (both of these have been done by the way, I am not re-inventing the wheel). This is tough because it's expensive to do and requires a lot of work. The best affiliate sites will require lots of work. Mine is taking months upon months to get it off the ground. If you open up some quick and dirty sites, don't expect to get rich but hey, even 500 a month is nice on the side. If you put in the work to run a real business you can make millions. There are huge affiliate sites out there with experts and big offices etc. An example is healthline.com which actually raised like almost 100 million dollars in funding in 2016. An example of affiliate site turned into a legit multi million dollar business. It would be awesome to get there one day

Ravzar thanks for reply, yeah thats what i tought. However, i will still run the site and work on it everyday just for the leaning phase. I take this site more like a practice site in for a bigger project, dont get me wrong im still trying to profit of the site but it seems kind of hard.

Well i guess i have to work extremely hard on this site or come up with something unique and put some money into it. I just turned 18 aswell and my main focus is just to learn as much as possible about this whole affiliate marketing/digital branding to start something bigger when all knowledge is in one place.

There no ansaw because Google indexing very odd these days.

There many experts saying that indexing is as easy as your telling it others disagree.

All I no that blogs do work 100%.

I really think adding a YouTube video of all items sold and video review in video and it attached to your blog on each item will help 100%.

Don't forget google like web 2.0 niche backlinks I suggest parasite method back linking will help.

To get even more money look for the owner of the product and get a better commission.

in tech im 100% sure it isn't going to happen.... due to the competition. doing this the way you are you need to hit long tail keywords for not such saturated niches. I have done this and i can personally say that it will work in the right niche with the right site... example on how ive done this in the past

basically youre building your whole site around words like : review, coupon, discount

it is important to download something like rankmath or yoast when doing these kinds of sites
