Hi everyone heres the issue i am facing now , just 30 mins ago when i try to log in my niche insta account it give me an error of " password incorrect" i never changed my password before and i log in to the email i created and guess what , that email was hacked too and now i cant access both my gmail and insta account . Can someone help me please? this account is very important to me . BTW i got an idea who did this (refer to the image below) As i standardized my password for my niche accounts i was shocked to find out he managed to access 3 of my gmail account each link with a different niche Instagram account. Is there way to recover my gmail OR more importantly my Insta account? I am really frustrated right now. And how to prevent it again?

BHW isn't Instagram support, there is very little we can help you with. Contact IG and see if they can do anything.
I assume that you confirmed these accounts with a real mobile phone... Right? I feel bad for you if you didn't.

Keylogger is a peace of malware that stores your keypresses. Simply put, if you have it on your machine, you are screwed.
Any information you enter will be sent over to the attacker.

I think malwarebytes will help in detection of a keylogger. just google it up.

You don't have to reformat your PC just yet. Nobody can say for sure if you have a keylogger or not, follow okehdom's reccomendation and try Malwarebytes, I think their anti-virus software is free.

It doesn't matter if he changed the phone number. Instagram has your old contact info. IG has implemented many security features that Facebook has, for instance, they have your session history. Reach out to their support and see how it goes, they will have to verify your identity, so that might get a bit tricky.
Just don't give up after the first "We can't do this or that, sorry".

Yes! Look around help.instagram.com, I know there is a contact form there somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

To be on the safe side, you should format your computer. If you have experiences with removing viruses, then you should just remove it, but if you don't, formatting is probably the best way.

Also read this guide I wrote to prevent this in the future: http://imristo.com/properly-securing-instagram-account/

When will people learn to use, and buy, a good antivirus for their computer. It's the minimum you should do.
Now, an antivirus will not protect you 100%, but at least it's like a lock on your front door.

Next, is to not use the same F****ng password for everything. Lazy people are lame!

And last, don't just change a number or letter from your "new password", nor include your initials, date of birth, place of birth, addresses where you've lived before, or your mom's/pet's/spouses/children's names for starters.

Dog Gamit, where not in the 1990s or 2000s; you should know better. Oh, I forgot, if you send your pecker or hooter shot to your beloved, don't expect that it won't find it's way to the world wide web (www for those that are younger than 18).

And last, but not least, stop piggy-backing unto "free" wireless access. If you're not at a Starbucks, or Barnes & Noble, or the name of the restaurant/coffe shop that your at, and you're logging into their named wireless access; then don't log unto that "free" wireless access point.

Oh, I forgot. As to what to do now that your account got hacked.

    Go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/
They are very good, with simple, step-by-step instructions. And when you're done, please donate some money and don't be cheap arses. $5 or more should be fine, I'm not saying $100 or $1,000. Come on, they save your arse, it's the least you could do.

After your computer is free of viruses, trojans, keyloggers, or whatever it is (they'll find out for you with your help), then...
    1. Go to your Gmail account and report that it was hacked. Follow the steps and you will be able to get your account back. Now, read up there as to having a good password, etc.
    2. After you have your Gmail account back, go to Instagram and report that your account got hacked. Instagram is painfully slow, but within 1-7 days, you should have your account back. Now, whether it's with all photos and followers/followings, who knows; but you'll get the account back.
    3. Buy a good antivirus program. I recommend Norton. And have it updated every day. It takes less than 1 minute.
    4. Follow the steps posted by Justchillin, http://imristo.com/properly-securing-instagram-account/, they are extremely good.

    Good luck.
