Edited: Its supposed to be $280 not $140, made a mistake.
The goal-Hit $280 a week, similar to a part time job, but obviously its slightly lower.
The pros: You can work at home, and work more on your blog or website.
The cons: You may have to do other things to pay the bill besides this writing gig.
Reason: I decided to become a better writer, by paying myself and getting the skills I need to enhance my blog. (Main goal- the blog)
Alternatives: If you have established credit, you can buy and sell stuff of course, but doing those things if you have no money to begin with, is a huge risk.
Anyways, moving on. I started this my writing yesterday, exactly wrote 4 articles and got paid on 2. One of my articles was rejected, and the other one is pending for review.
Worse case scenario: I increase my skills in copywriting + content marketing, and actually start from the money earned to pay an actual thread of my services on forums, like this one.
Portfolio: Is my squidoo account, and people can see before what my copywriting skills are like, before purchase. Or check out the profile on my iwriter account.
Understanding law of averages: Shoot 20 at least get 10.
Source: iwriter, forum threads of services (build your rep at the same time)
Todays earnings: $3.24
What are you thoughts on this?
