so I thought to make this post a worthwhile. I'm going to provide you with some resources to get super high ctr's on your fb ads...

Don't quote me on the title...it might not be the best guide, but will help beginners!

ctr = click thru rate

Below are the examples of some categories which get high ctr's!

1) women (with boobs...yes big ones)
2) latina's with glasses
3) Groupon's "falling house"

and etc etc....these are pretty normal...

But, let's get a bit more creative...and i'll show you some samples and how my ctr rate varies from image to image...below are some examples...

Techniques will be discussed :

1) Use neon colored borders
2) tilt the images slightly
3) Sometimes invert the whole image 180 degrees.

etc etc.....

So the point is to get as much attention as possible. Facebook's design is almost or nearly perfect. So we need to aim for something which is otherwise not perfect at all...

An average human eye can spot a difference in an ad...so we have to acknowledge that act accordingly...

Some examples are below:

For the above particular image, I ran a mobile offer...an incent one...

The above image has the best ctr of all...and yes it's that one obvious reason...You got it right if u guessed it but if you haven't...think about it...you'll know why...

feel free to test these if you want...but hey don't forget to relate it i someway...

When a user looks at your image...at that point they are actually looking at the title aswell...So that's your chance to prove what you got...

so good luck guys...More case studies coming soon!

FB Ads has his own philosophy & you are on the right track ;)
I'm wondering thought, if it is worth more then doing AdWords vouchers.

But will try it for sure with some CPA.

congrats on reaching your 100th post.

Nice post! This is definately going to increase the CTR coz it makes the user curious to know more, but what about the conversions? Relevancy is also a lot more important than just getting the user to click.

And also can you give basic details of the mobile offer you ran like how much CTR did you register?, how much money did you make?, what was the conversion rate and stuff? Just to get more idea about this method. Thanks!

haha thanks...since I've mentioned above, when the user is curios and looking at your ad...they are also glancing at the title and the description aswell...so that's when your creativity comes in play...how well you target their emotions psychologically...

the mobile offer was on a content gateway i've had...that was one of my first ventures with content gateway + ppc...not doing it now at the moment...but was worth it when it lasted...
