Musk has told the Eu, Twitter will comply with all speech laws
so how free it will be remains to be seen

I'm 99% sure Elon shorted Twitter a few weeks ago when he said that will buy Twitter. I like this guy, but everything he does is shady. Including partnership with Binance, and who knows what China wants in return for his Tesla mega-factory and batteries.

My gut says twitter has a hell of a lot more fake accounts than the 5% being thrown around. I bet it does.

I read somewhere that Connor McGregor was also looking at buying twitter out. Not sure how this would turn out though.

You do not need your own money to take over Twitter.

Musk was not even going to use his own money and he has enough for a Big Mac AND fries.
 
McGregor was ranked as the world's highest paid athlete by Forbes in 2021, earning a reported $180 million. He also featured in the list in 2018, when he was ranked fourth, with a reported income of $99 million. That's not enough for Twitter ?

I could not earn that much money in 10 life times let a lone 1 life time.
 
It appeared obvious that he was never going to go through with it, a while ago, so no surprises.

It was an ego thing from the very start.
