Usually Channels like this have special contracts with the music artists - The Channel owner gets the revenue, the artist gets the exposure, of the artist usually gets a cut from what the video makes in revenue.

Are you sure the channel gets the money? The artist could just claim the monetization so they get the money and exposure, but the channel gets the views.
