Mum blogs, I don't get it

Some of these sites are legit while some others are blog networks. Mid-wives have many social media groups and networks, where they share links with each other. There are some groups which work like cults. It's easy for them to get backlinks and traffic.

A new page accrues page rank mostly from interaction. Personal blogs can be shared in FB etc more. Search engine values content with interaction if it can track it. Outbound link giver better context to overall site and the next articles for SE to assign context to.
If it works only one way then SE would be ranking on Amazon and other Ecommerce sites.

They may be selling whatever they can to get traffic minding their kids as first priority before anything which is Sell Fish !!
 
I work with a lot of these and they often all know each other and work together (commenting, collabing etc.). It's like a big community and probably one of the reasons the sites do well really quickly.

This explanation is much more feasible. I bet they have some ( regional/non-english) hobby forums as well. I have seen some in past, but obviously we can't talk about other forums here hehe.

That is like one man army. That is different from what people do here. Here focus is on buying links and using other tricks to rank. Those mums are completely dedicated to their blogs.

I don't know about that so far ferrets have stolen me or giving me between £10,000 to £100,000 in pure profit for whatever they give me such as a nice 1950's musical instrument one give me worth around £12,000 now.

Consider this you go to a bar while people get drunk ferrets can mug the drunk people then steal whatever they want then leave the drunks without any money.
 
I'm on the adthrive Facebook page with a ton of Mom bloggers.

Tbh, many of them work very hard, they are tech savvy, have home studios for taking high quality pictures and dedicate a lot of time to pinterest and Facebook.

Some have teams of staff.

Adthrive continuously provides free training to maximise SEO and ways to increase earnings and traffic.

I'm sure most know more about SEO than half this forum put together :)
 
This thread has been very informative. Things that stand out -
Blogging mums have pbns.
They are a tight-knit group that help each other out, possibly a cult.
They earn enough to have teams of workers.
Don't screw with ferrets.
 
I've seen some Korean mom communities... marketers love them. it works.
