I have a question about creating multiple Etsy Accounts using signers. So different ID numbers and other information of the Signer. On the additional Tax ID I use my business Tax No. Would this need to be different for each store to prevent the accounts from being linked? I had a store banned and all my other stores are still up but I am not sure if Etsy checks the Additional Tax ID.

If you are using different signers with unique ID numbers and personal information, that’s a good start. However, if you use the same business Tax ID (EIN) across multiple accounts, Etsy could still link these stores together. While there’s no official statement from Etsy explicitly saying that they check additional Tax IDs for linking purposes, it’s highly likely they do, especially when an account has been banned.

If you had an account banned, and there is something, which could be device, details or IP, then it could easily affect the other stores. Now you had one account banned, you need completely untraceable info for the others. If that means a registration of a business to get a new id then so be it. Thats completely legit.

My device, details, bank details etc, all different. Just the Additional tax ID are the same , its one of my business tax IDs. This is so the signer is not responsible for the tax. I can easily create multiple business's with different tax IDs. Seems the way to go to be safe.

Yes, Etsy does track various data points to link multiple accounts, especially when one gets banned. While using different signers with unique ID numbers can help create separation between accounts, the Additional Tax ID (your business tax number) could potentially be a linking factor.

At the moment I use mobile wifi for my stores with one on my residential wifi. Is it possible to start using mobile proxies without gettting flagged by Etsy?

Where are you getting signers from and how do you switch it to your bank account?

In my country it is quite easy to get signers, I pay them like $30. The bank account I use is new one per store and under my name. Etsy is not able to check who owns the bank account.

Use a different ID, bank account, IP and browser profile for each of those Etsy accounts. Avoid as much as you can any kind of link between your accounts
