It sounds very shortsighted and hyperbolic.it's a big brand, so google loves them implicitly, a backlink from them might give your site some trust (at the very least) if not ranking boost.

There is no doubt that this site has good metrics but there is always a luck that your published article is going to be visible for your targeting audience and rank keyword in serp to drive traffic or you have to work for that published page to rank it as you want! and this site publishing charges are high $200+.Seeing a lot of services now offering MSN guest posting.
