MSN guest posting worth it?

it's a big brand, so google loves them implicitly, a backlink from them might give your site some trust (at the very least) if not ranking boost.

But based on what OP said this is what I would pay....


only if it's worth spending more. For that type of backlink I'd not spend more. But that's me, you are - of course - free to pay whatever you want :)
You would genuinely not want a link from msn.com for $1? If you are being serious could you explain that reasoning? It sounds very shortsighted and hyperbolic.
 
MSN is really a very good reference; even my Windows 11 PC shows their weather predictions and news- which means they are not as "old fashioned" as some might think.
Forget the MSN Messenger times :)

I'm not sure if it is one of these sub-category items that have little to no value.
There is no doubt that this site has good metrics but there is always a luck that your published article is going to be visible for your targeting audience and rank keyword in serp to drive traffic or you have to work for that published page to rank it as you want! and this site publishing charges are high $200+.

We can also get similar link juice and traffic from many other high DA 80-90+ sites just in $10 which provide same value.
need is to aware and use tricks to get backlinks as your way and according to your pocket!

Means price of website doesn't matter you just have to figure out backlink's site quality and whether that site published page is getting indexed and rank in serp with your targeting keyword to drive traffic and link juice value.

Tips: Create backlinks on any good website with good traffic and good DA, DR
Work for that page to get that Tier 1 Link rank in serp and drive you traffic and provide good value and link juice which boost your rankings automatically. :)
