Mr. Amazing’s Magic Rocks

Havent heard of Blair Warren.
When I was initially reading the story I thought to myself, who wrote this? Imran Naseem maybe?

Time to bump this Wiz-Classic to the top!

Wiz, tell me, were the first 2 (or even the first few) "customers" also similar 'IM Gurus' and 'collaborators' of our Mr. Amazing?;)

That is a possibility. In the old days, traveling medicine
salesmen often "planted" a person in the audience who
would act very ill and then after swallowing a sip of the
medicine, they would jump around and proclaim that
they were miraculously cured. Then the crowd would
rush up to the stage in a frenzy to buy the product.

I guess you could call that an early version of "Black Hat
Social Proof" :)

Cheers!

The "sheep" trait in the other'wise' almighty Man! :) So our IM "Guru" is somebody who expertly pulls the wool over the sheep's eyes and then robs the wool from its hide & etc. ... Cool! ;)

Though I usually don't like seeing bumps on ancient posts, this one was new to me so thanks for the bump ^^
