I would redirect all of the non https urls permanently to the https urls to be safe. As I understand, http and https are different versions in the eye of googlebot. Once you do that, your new urls will get the juice instead of the old url.
You can lose a good bit of traffic for a few weeks but as long as you do redirects it should return to normal, or even better, since ssl is a ranking signal now.
