Moving site to https

    If I move my site to https, will it affect my backlink profile? Or google will update it automatically?

    I would redirect all of the non https urls permanently to the https urls to be safe. As I understand, http and https are different versions in the eye of googlebot. Once you do that, your new urls will get the juice instead of the old url.

    when you activate SSL certificate to your domain it will be secure and changed to https. others remain same no problem

    It is safer to do so. Nothing to lose.

    You can lose a good bit of traffic for a few weeks but as long as you do redirects it should return to normal, or even better, since ssl is a ranking signal now.
