Buy yourself a go-pro, mount it so it does not bounce all over the place. I assume there are gimbals for bikes so you may need to hunt.
Create a YT channel and add content as often as you can and promote that.

You can create a website or a Youtube channel and publish content. Just think about how you can help other people interested in mountain biking, and you'll get a ton of ideas.

Reviews or Shopify store, I am sure you got a good knowledge about the equipment and all that stuff. Plus as mentioned by BTB Youtube channel is your best bet.

Thanks for the advice my friend. I think im too camera shy to go on youtube. Id really like to do reviews or shopify but i dont know how to start. When you do reviews dont you actually have to have the product in hand to review it?

It's a great niche man. You will find some good affiliate programs like Amazon and other trusted eCommerce sites. Start writing about your journey, you can include buying guides so that bikers can make decisions after reading your article.

Just go with Amazon for now. But before you start do some research on how to start a niche site. For that, you can take ideas from searching with keyword, like - best mountain bikes under $500

If you already have a high passion for it, ideally, you could start your blog section on the site and begin writing about this hobby, why you choose it, what's so interesting about mountain bikes, how to buy the right one, you could write your journeys, tutorials on how to survive on the mountain, or something like that. Besides, as this niche is suitable for posting pictures and videos, you should also start your own profile on some social media or open a YouTube channel.

Do some detailed routes that you ride, take photos and write about these routes.
These are often much better than badly written affiliate review posts.

Damn, if you were that into your hobby, you could travel the world with your youtube channel and website posting popular tourist routes, and offroad tracks, combining an interesting life on the road, with some cash in the bank. Best of luck, even if you decide to keep it small, and just do an affiliate review site, you'll come away more experianced.

To become an authority, then yes, that would be great if you could get unique products to review. However, maybe you can volunteer at your local biking shop in exchange to review some of their bikes that come in every month?
