Hello all! I'm new to affiliate marketing and I'm trying to learn the basics in igaming niche.
So there are many payment models out there - CPA, CPL, CPM, RevShare, Flat Fee, Spend, Hybrid... Each model rewards affiliate differently for the attracted traffic. I understand that for every traffic source there are a preferred payment model. For example infuencer traffic commonly paid with flat fee; banner ads paid with CPM etc. But generally, I think, almost any source can pe paid with any model? if advertisier and affiliate arrange it correctly and track the traffic.
Nowdays, as it seems to me, CPA and spend model are the most desirable by the affiliates, because it's easier for them to plan thier budgets and make ends meet. However a few years ago, as I heard, RevShare deals were more popular. Whats the most relevant payment model nowdays for different sources, and what are the perspectives? I'd be happy to hear opinions on this matter from experienced affiliates, affiliate managers and other people who could shed some light
