More sales with paid traffic?

Hi guys, i recently found a method somewhere which had 2 methods in it.
The first method was free traffic to promote ur clickbank products, which everybody knows by now (youtube etc..)
The second method was interesting, where he found products on clickbank and promoted them by paid traffic or buy banner impressions.
Do you guys think this would work? When i finish my examens, i will probably try this method and let you guys know!

There are more then two ways to promote Clickbank products, bear in mind that not all niches are being promoted with same method.
Personally Im for social media marketing, it worked great for me at the past. Youtube is a very powerful tool if you use him wisely.

This is a no brainer. Or course paid traffic can be beneficial for CB products. The key is to get laser targeted people hitting the offer page. Last thing you need is a lady visitor to be sent to a page offering viagra.

Buying banner is actually an "ancient" way of getting traffic when YT, facebook don't even exist. It requires a lot of experience; you must know what's you doing (sale funnels, conversion, banner design etc...). The only way to know is to test it out or learn from master.
