more keywords are not ranking ?

Hello! guys need a professional tips here. I have been building links and managing on page SEO for a website and this website only ranks for 20-25 keywords. I have been optimizing each and every pages carefully also using search console fixed indexing and crawling issues. still the site does not rank on more keyword stuck between 20-25. all of the pages are indexed but does not happen to rank. need a serious help here thank you

Hm, can you give us more info:

• How old is your site
• How many pages/posts
• Is it wordpress or custom or other platform
• How much content you have on website
• Did you build any links and how much did you build

Can be a lot of reasons why you rank only for 20kws - maybe lack of content around other kws... Maybe overoptimization or structure...

There can be some reasons behind your other keywords not ranking. Increase the length of the content on those keywords, start building more links to those keywords. Do the same process for the other keywords as you did for those 20-25 keywords. You will succeed.

There are a lot of reasons for not getting a good ranking after well performing on-page optimization, keyword research, link-building though the site is in the same position. Firstly check out what issue is your site facing...

- What can you do about your competition?
- Check Google has indexed your website properly?
-Is your website not mobile friendly?
-Are Meta tags optimized well?
-Poor content optimization?
-Not enough quality content
-No high-quality backlinks
-No social media activity
-Poor page load speed
-A Formal Penalty

How competitive are those keywords? Have you done offsite SEO on them? We are way beyond the days when just proper onsite made keywords appear in the top 10. Nowadays even low competition keywords take smart backlinking in order to rank.

It all depends on the competition. You should have done some keyword research i.e no weak domain can rank for "Payday loans" even if you spend on link building.
