No I do not care if you give me a method. I have methods. But when you go bragging about how you have found a glued ass method, and then do not elaborate, you look like a bunch of other people who talk a lot. I am happy for you but your original post did nothing but undermine my premise. The whole point of me telling you the methods was to inspire someone to stop searching for only the easy way that may or may not be real and put some effort into something concrete. As far your intimation that online is somehow easy I dispute that. My ass has to leave the couch to do online as well. If you know how to avoid that let us all know.

I think what he's saying is some of us don't like to rent booths and hand out gifts, it's alot like a real job, we like to sit around and make tons of automated money on the internet. You say you have methods but choose to get booths at minor league baseball games sorry but I know that would never work out for me, I would just choose another profession if thats the only way I could make money on CPA.

Also it irritates me your thread title is "More Decent CPA Tips" which apparently consist of

"First, you should know that new CPA accounts are watched carefully. Any new affiliates first few leads through my network were manually verified through the client. So early leads must be solid. Second, you can expect 1 conversion for every 10,000 untargeted emails sent."

I would go so far as to say these arent decent tips, i'd actually call them worthless.

BuddyBoy, I have a question for you. Can you tell (or what are the chances of getting caught) by incentivizing non-incentivized offers. Any tips?

I like this method as you can pay someone $10 an hour to do this for you.... + cost of game/booth but that's business....

Now that is really using the old noggin, get some shmoe for a low hourly wage to do the dirty work. :headbang:

Thats too vague theres alot of factors involved in that. Are you actually giving the people the incentives? If so they are less likely to complain if not alot of them will complain and you will get caught. And it depends on the volume, if you go overboard youll be more visible and inevitably get caught by the advertiser.

Havok I appreciate your viewpoint. As stated this was more towards helping noobs integrate online sales and offline marketing. I use a few online methods but web 2.0 is shutting down as fast as it started. Do these social sites realize how much they made off of us lowly IM's? As far as methods I have a good method regarding something I need more posts to talk about and one on CL. It is a foreclosure method. I post a house for sale in real estate then auto respond some more details, but not so many details they lose interest. I then run them through my redirected domain to the offer. A spin on a common idea, but what is different is that I put all of the legal notices and disclaimer in the ad, without the link of course, and that builds credibility about my legitimacy. Not world beating but nets me $30-60 dollars per day. I have other methods I will post later on. As far as incentivizing there is risk as this is what I banned for most. The way we found out is that the signee would actually tell them about the gift. People talk. Incentivizing non incentivizable offers is considered fraud so tread lightly.

One other thing about incentvizing, you can not make the gift too memorable, but as Havok said, you must give it to them. BTW, the biggest prick clients are debt consolidators. They complain faster than anyone. For less worry you can use a dating offer that is PG that does not require a phone number. Less payout, but more interest and little risk if you are smart.

I mean no disrespect but why do you always mention "Former Affiliate Manager" in your thread titles? Are you attempting to brand yourself or think that stating this will give you instant cred? From experience I've learned most Affiliate Managers don't know anything about how to make money online and even though I'm a noob I knew every "secret" and tip you've posted so far since my second day of Blackhatworld.com membership.

Again I mean no disrespect but something doesn't feel right about your posts

I do not always use that title but some people have begun following my posts so I use it when relevant. BTW, do you not have better things to do than offer petty crticism? Go make money. I find that people who say things do not feel right are the types who stare down from the diving board afraid to jump. Well some of us actually have the required courage to dive in, and while things may not always feel right try getting a date being the guy laughed off the board for being afraid. I am showing you the pool, but it is on you to figure out if you can swim.

I know you be trying to help but I just say that as a former AFF. Manager i would have thought you could share some inside stuff we maybe don't know

I do not know what everybody here knows. If you already know it, fine. But some people have found my posts useful. You know how to make a CPA worthy lander in ten minutes? Great. I do too. You know how to get junk traffic for dozens of offers at once undetectably minutes from now and free? Great. I do too. This is a knowledge sharing forum in part, and I want to share, and I do not think I am doing harm to the board in any way shape or form.

ok i see your side. I just thought maybe you be setting up to sell me something. I guess us online marketers are just distrustful. Sorry if I offend

I am cool. I get the skepticism. I am not selling this stuff. All free.

BuddyBoy, do most AMs / networks know about the BH methods here? I mean, can you guys tell when someone is running the CL job method for example? Do you care? How many BH methods do AMs / networks let slide because you are making money?

@Buddyboy - In reading your posts, it seems that CL and Yahoo Anwsers are the best sites to hit for low budget traffic that converts well in offers, right?

In answer to whitecat they generally have an idea you are running Craigslist by the fact you are making money. That is why it is important you establish referred traffic from a high traffic lander. If you flail at sending traffic, then all of a sudden deliver hundreds of hits, they know something is up. If you run Craigslist make sure you scale patiently. In answer to jmhmedia the two top free methods are what you mention, nothing else comes close.

:cat3:Very good plan. I have used this marketing concept for a few businesses. You can actually motivate a response to the flyer with just a good discount sometimes. Make a tear-off on the bottom with a # which states it must be given to get the discount or turned in. Flyers can even be put on cars at Wal-Mart IF you talk to the manager and they agree plus you agree to clean up any that are thrown away. Or Target? or anywhere there is alot of cars or people at one time. I wouldn't recommend churches. Large shopping centers can be good too. ALWAYS ask permission first. Make your offer attractive and motivating particularly within the first sentence as people are lazy and if it doesn't catch their 'eye' immediately, they toss it. You can get a group of kids together and even go door to door but be careful as you might find a whole stack landing at one house. (It happened to me.) Huge apartment complexs can be good but AGAIN, ask permission from the manager. You can also find booths by going to various places they have them, approach a 'booth owner' and ask to work with them at their next show to put out your information. Marketing on the internet is very different than in the real world. People will even pass on free information as they know it is a gimic to capture their email and name. AGAIN, what makes them want to know more?? YOU HAVE GREAT INFORMATION and many people can make alot of money using it!!

i like buddy's posts... he has a lot of good information on how am's and their companies work... but you all want to just jump to the hateraid and dump it all over the coach ;x

thanks buddyboy for takin your time for the ones that have no clue about whats going on... sure what hes saying has been discussed since the beginning of IM but some people dont pick up from ones post, and picks up from another...

keep it up ;) people need to know what they are gettin into ;)

This sounds pretty good to me. What I don't get though, is why you would have to even clear this with your AM. If you're doing real-life promotion through flyers with a domain redirect, isn't that pretty much awesome, real leads? What affiliate would possibly have a problem with that?

For whatever reason every affiliate I work with requires permission for offline marketing.
