Moral concerns with CPA

Hey BHW Members

I would like to share a thought with you:

I have been doing CPA on different platforms in different ways for a while. Sometimes successful, but sometimes less successful. I ended up quitting due to moral concerns, because I don't want to earn my living this way.

As an example, I had a Roblox CPA website for Robux, of course the users never received the Robux after completing the offers.
So I would like to hear your perspective on this issue

If you feel like this, and it's good to feel like this, switch what you do.

Options are generally :-

1) Services/Agency

Run some sort of agency providing services. You can start as a consultant but you'll want to move to an agency model for scale.

2) Ecom

Niche products for ecom is generally where the big money is.

3) SaaS

Biggest money is in SaaS.

There are different levels of ethics in business.

The first level is avoiding anything where the user is basically getting scammed. This is most of CPA. They are not getting value. It's not a balanced relationship. It's a milking the consumer relationship.

The second level is sticking with things that are more positive for people.

Ie, gambling and porn aren't particularly good things for society. It's way way above the first level because it's an exchange of energy. The person does want to gamble and they do want porn.. However.. In the course of doing business you will be persuading people which means you're using your powers of marketing to get people to do more things that are a net negative for their life. Gambling and adult are a net negative generally.

Not always.. If you're a millionaire and you want to go gamble, great. It's fun. I enjoy it. I do it on occasion and I don't care if I lose. I am paying for the excitement/thrill. I'm not trying to make money from it, but most people who gamble need money.

Likewise adult is not morally wrong. It's just not that great when pushed so heavily in society and it consumes people.

Level 3 is where you have an appropriate energy exchange and the person is getting a net positive.

Even something like a burger joint is a net positive for people. If you really care about people you would make a healthier one that doesn't use seed oils, but most people who eat even a mcdonalds are having a little enjoyment out of it, and providing they don't pig out, it's not THAT bad for you in moderation.

Then you have things that are a real net positive for people like Amazon. It's convenient and you buy stuff you want to buy.

Of course you can really go down a rabbit hole and argue that consumerism is bad and people should invest, but that's just taking it too far. Society as a whole is NOT at that level. People want to watch netflix, be entertained and consume interesting products and that's absolutely fine.

Which is where my next response takes me.. ;-)

Do you know that owner of Amazon spends their time on yachts that cost $100 million?

How many people do you think could eat and survive for that money?

Consider net worth of such a person and that it's 100 billion+.

Is that ethical to keep all of that for oneself? What would happen if that person didn't have guards? They'd not exist.

See Donald Trump lately had a problem with this.

What CPA and roblox are is very innocent. Cheating in games is just helping people switch 1s and 0s that aren't real.

What you can do is you can collect money off that and build real business with it. Simple advertising industry cash.

This is an example of taking this WAY too far.

Why should someone who's built a business like Amazon that's provided fast convenient products to the world not enjoy a yacht?

If I have a net worth of $10 billion, are you saying I should give $100 million away instead of getting a yacht? Why? This is not an energy exchange. It's just giving money away, which will end up back in the hands of the wealthy.

Think about a small scale.

You live in a small village with 500 people.

The people in your village have no access to salt and pepper, so you setup a business that imports salt and pepper and you sell it. You dominate in your village. Everyone buys from you.

Everyone is happy. They get their salt and pepper. Their food is tastier.

I'm now the richest person in my village. I use my money to build a massive house. That money goes back into my village(the global economy as a whole in the case of a yacht).

Am I a bad person? Should I instead just GIVE my resources back to my village for free?

I don't NEED to. You don't have to give away everything to be a good person.

I am already enriching my village.

Money should flow.

I could build a good private school and charge people money to go there. I get more money. I can maker a higher quality product and people benefit. Some of them will go to run businesses to further enrich the village.

The problem is not necessarily the wealthy. The problem is that most people in the world are in a consumer mindset and don't want to create. They want to consume. Simply giving away money will not help them. It'll just flow back to the creators.

Of course, in our world, we have an element of it that does control the narrative and aims to keep more people enslaved in consumerism as this benefits them more. But this doesn't change the principles of commerce.

It's a VERY unhealthy mindset to start to think the rich should be giving everything away and being angry with them for buying yachts. This, I guarantee, would lead to a worse world for everyone. History has shown us this.

Trigger .apk file download on offer completion like here: https://modsmaniac.com/roblox-mod-menu/
Just find the file first or create it yourself. Doesn't have to be 100% honest as this is just a few clicks. Not much moral damage considering social media nature and how evil it is.

Understand that the whole gaming industry and the whole social media industry are automated mills that extract money and time off people, also their reward system gets wrecked.
I would agree with this 100%

Fair enough, but have you ever thought what the people are doing with those proxies you are selling. Proxies are usually used for playing dirty as well even with CPA. So aren't you apart of this unethical game you speak about as well? What makes you different? Lol

Like I said, everyone has to decide where their line is, you might not be comfortable with selling proxies but I am. I provide great proxies for people to build their businesses around, that's what I take pride in and I sleep fine

Yes its gay af in my opinion.

The user takes the time to complete the offer and receive absolutely NOTHING in return.

Your "business" is basically deceiving and providing zero value to your customers - aka a scam.

Even a drug dealer provides more value than that as they connect the customer with the product, delivering what was promised.

On the other hand i dont think its THAT BIG of a deal, its just some stupid way to make money online.

Anyways if you dont feel good working this way i would just move on to another thing as putting effort on this everyday doesnt make any sense.
I beg to differ, the drug dealer actually messes up the person life. While the content locker only takes 10 minutes of their time and they move on with their life. But you can always put mod apks and file inside the content locker to redirect.

question : is there a legit CPA offers that has legit reward at the end?

Anyone heard about glitchy.com?

I been hearing about this glitchy non-sense, I'll stick to OGAds. Most CPA rewards actually are raffles and the emails go into some kind of raffle and someone will be drawn to win. But there isn't any reward at the end for completing it right away. The problem is the way they go about advertising these sweepstake offers. Got to read the fine print.

And? The user will still not get the coins in real game, that's what was advertised on the locker. There is no way you can cover this scam. But I understand, it is difficult for you to give it up, this money is fast and easy. I was in that same mindset too untill some bad things started happening to me. It is a big big trap...

I beg to differ again, mod apk actually come with coins in the real game and these mod apks can be shown in the video. Since you were in the same mindset and it's so easy. Let's see your dashboard with your earnings. Probably just lying, because you weren't able to see any results. Mod Apks are a real thing with real in game currency.

It is a lie, no way you can hack the multi-player game server and inject coins into balance, otherwise these games wouldn't exist. I have received my bitter portion and that's enough for me. I didn't make much money right, but everyone has their own limit when clock hits X. This thing is giving a very bad vector to one's life.

Mate, you are speaking on things you don't know about because you haven't done it. Example: Subway server is not a server sided game hence the coins can be modded. Not all games are server sided, I can send you websites with modded games and apps and you can download and test them yourself, even some with servers have mods. Until you have technical knowledge on this subject, it makes no sense we go back and forth.

If you don't feel good doing that anymore and you feel like you are damaging the people you should stop no because everyone says is right or wrong is because you don't feel is right, everyone will have a different opinion at least on my side I would say that you are taking a good desition by not doing it anymoret but I will say that if you feel unease, give peace to your heart and mind and stop doing it, might not be a good monetary desition but you will feel better at long term.

So interesting how the whole "mod apk" scene holds together. They don't claim to provide coins and that's the difference. You can trick games on different levels than resources and database rows.

There is also a concept of "private servers" which lets one provide coins on a private server.

Did you deceive anyone? Yes, if you didn't make money when you could and created an assumption that something like that is impossible. :D

Anyways, if you're an adult and not a kid, it's easier to build houses and it's more beneficial to everyone around than playing some dumbass games.

Did you make any money with your Roblox website?

I would build a whitehat blog if I were you. It can be satisfying, ethical and even noble depending on the niche.

morals are unnatural. morals get you killed. morals are an unnatural aspect of the unnatural conscience.
