Money can bring happiness, but it takes more than money to truly enjoy life. For me, there is no better experience than being around my cousins, aunts, and uncles. I am a 17 year old teen who is an only child. I have no brothers or sisters. At times, I get oftentimes lonely. I wish I had a brother or sister because in the future, they are almost your best friend. You know you can count on them if you are struggling or going through rough times. The worst part is that most of my relatives live outside the US. Some live in Canada, others in Lebanon, Australia, and Germany. I just wish we were all near each other.
For me, I realize that in possibly 10 years I am the one who is going to have to take care and pay for my parents care. We still have a mortgage to pay off. Now at a young age, I hope to start on something that can generate some money and hopefully 10 years from now down the road, will generate some serious revenue. My goal is to generate enough revenue to live a simple, middle-class life with my future wife (whoever she'll be). I want to make sure she doesn't have to work. I want her to stay home and relax. I want to best for my future children.
I am still learning the ropes of internet marketing. This forum is very useful. People here are much nicer and helpful than the ones at WF. No offense, but the people over there only try to sell me their stupid offers and techniques. I gained nothing over there.
And to those who say hard-work does pay off, I call bs. My father came the US roughly 19 or 20 years ago with little money. For almost 8 years, he began working in a liquor store/deli shop, while attending plumbing school at night (I do not know how long he trained to become a plumber). In 1998, he decided to quit his job and start his own plumbing company. Now, 14 years later, he has provided me with not the richest life style, but a middle-class comfortable living style. Any time I am hungry, I just go to the fridge and there is something available to eat. I have attended private schools for my whole life. I have the luxury to shower in clean water everyday and to wear clean clothes. I don't feel well? He offers to take me to the doctor. My uncle (who lives in Canada) is the same. In his early years ( I would say until his early 40s or late 30s), he lived a frugal lifestyle life. He was almost the cheapest guy you could of known. But all that paid off. He used the money he saved and bought some real estate. he flipped some of those houses and made an actual profit. Now, all he does is stay home and enjoy time with his family (Once every like 4-5 months he comes visit us for like 2-3 weeks). He gets passive income every month from the rent he collects every month for his apartment complexes. So don't say hard-work doesn't pay off. If you are smart, spend your money wisely, and actually manage your expenses, it will all pay off at the end.
