Money doesn't bring happiness, my ass!

Assuming you have other needs taken care of, like love and whatnot, money DOES bring happiness. The more money you have, the more freedom you enjoy, to do whatever the fuck you want. The more freedom you enjoy, the happier you are, as you don't have to worry about restrictions, be they of material or other nature. Don't know who said it but "I've been rich and I've been poor. Rich is better" seems spot on.

"Money doesn't bring happiness" is possibly the biggest crock of shit in history, right up there with religion. Must've been coined by some stinking rich people, in order to keep laborers happy with their low level of wealth, so they don't try to get rich too.

Fuckin right buddy!!
I that's a sweet quote, I want to mount it up in my room! :D
"I've been rich and I've been poor. Rich is better."

True fact: Money = happiness in my book. Exactly what you said, money = freedom to do what I want = happiness.

No money = no money to do what I want = unhappy

Experiences bring happiness and though I agree there are some low cost experiences that will bring you happiness, ultimately the ability to have any experience you want is true happiness and that can only be done with money.

money does not bring happines. but with money you can "buy" everything that can bring you happiness... even good health!

Depends of what you enjoy in life. happiness is such a subjective thing and isn't equal to everyone so maybe the things we can buy with money can bring hapiness to some people but not for everyone for sure. But being able to live without money problems can help a lot in general to smooth things at least

Life is ironic, you can't be happy if you have so much money and you can't be happy if you don't have enough money. I agree too that money cannot buy happiness but you can't live without money. lol, well balancing life will be the best way to make yourself happy. There is a nice set of income and a beautiful love life. But these things in some ways don't happen to everyone.

Anybody tells you money is the root of all evil doesn't fuckin' have any. They say money can't buy happiness? Look at the fuckin' smile on my face. Ear to ear, baby. :D
You want details? Fine. I drive a Ferrari 355 Cabriolet. What's up? I have a ridiculous house in the South Fork. I have every toy you could possibly imagine. And best of all, kids, I am liquid.
So, now that you know what's possible. Let me tell you what's required.
You are required to work your fucking ass off as internet marketer. We want winners here, not pikers. A piker walks at the bell. A piker asks how much vacation time you get in the first year. Vacation time? People come and work in IM industry for one reason: to become filthy rich. That's it. We're not here to make friends. We're not savin' the fuckin' manatees here, guys. You want vacation time? Go teach third grade, public school.

You are aping a movie scene (Boiler Room): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvICN8DNMpY

By the way Boiler Room is an amazing movie.

First post I have read since returning - since gaining that mojo back - since I thought its time to get back on the paper

U know what my fellow IM friends?

i believe in god and when i sit to pray i ask for

health
wealth
love
protection
heaven

to me that is happiness and wealth can be defined as different things by different people..

wealth to be able to buy what u want without worrying about the consequences makes a difference to some

wealth to support poverty and the unfortunate is happiness to some

wealth for food, shelter and clean garments is enough for some

there is a fine line between wealth resulting in happiness and wealth being destructive (more commonly coming from greed)

that's my take on things..

this is a good welcome back post..

now lets go get filthy rich :rocketwho

Money will bring happiness when u desperately need it but not when u have more than enough.getting something to your close ones will make them happy so as to u that's one kinda happiness. Its far better to stay in the middle deck than wavering in the upper or lower one.If u have too much at some point of time surely you'll get bored. It depends upon the individual.!!!;)

Winning gives birth to hostility.
Losing, one lies down in pain.
The calmed lie down with ease,
having set winning & losing aside.

Que?!?

ha if everything else in life is good then of course money will bring happiness. the whole point quote is to say that money isnt EVERYTHING

To me, its all about the selfishness of the person. You send wisely with good friends and family then you can't go wrong. No mater how down or pissed you are, that money you spend during previous good times with them inevitably acts as a prepayment to get you right.. and if all else fails, hit the local bar and ball out (within your limit of course lol)

Absolutely.

Depends on the person. I grew up a spoiled teen my whole life, had access to money whenever i needed it. So, growing up money had a different meaning to me. Though I must admit, once I MADE the money on my own, it definitely gave me a better feeling; but I still tend to not be as impressed or dazzled by what money can bring me - I feel better by making others lives easier with my money, not so much myself.

If someone would take away all your money tomorrow, would that make you unhappy? There's your answer.
