Monetizing Instagram account in the Aviation Niche

Hello all,

I started a few social media pages surrounding aviation (mostly content related to pilots). I've grown my Instagram page from 0 to 12000 followers in about a month organically. Right now, I average 10 million views a month. Growth has been steady, and I have a merch store attached to it, selling print-on-demand aviation-related merch. My account is mainly followed by pilots/student pilots. I've been growing steadily and have new plans in place to boost traffic.

- How do I maximize monetization of this account?

-Any advice to get more people onto my website?

-Tips on running Instagram ads would be appreciated, too. I am familiar with Facebook ads, but not so much with Instagram.

Any advice/tips would be much appreciated.

What a lot of users do is have a website where they can get a T-Shirt, or some kind of item that goes with the content you are posting. See what item would go good with your profile and you can let people from your page to go and check it out.
 
Have you added the website link in Bio?
How is your merch store doing right now, Plan to add more merch into it?
 
There are various ways;
- Put your email on your bio for possible brand deals, you can partner with aviation brands, airlines, travel companies, tech etc
- You can also open a private community like Discord (paid) for exclusive content access
- How about boosting the best performing reels too by just clicking on the boost button to gain more attention

this is the kind of growth that demonstrates a great match with ur ideal audience. u should try to capitalize on the attention that u get rather than only on the number of followers. aviation brands could sponsor indiividual reels while u could create some valuable pilots’ resources that would naturally drive traffic to ur website. moreover, make sure that u analyze those themes for which u get clicks on ur website, not just views on the reels.
