So here are three ways I am thinking of monetizing a channel (for the sake of this discussion lets say is it a Joe Rogan style video podcast).
Does anyone know which would be better?
Method 1) Go the classic YouTube route (4k watch hours, subs and then apply for monetization)
Method 2) Go the Distro route (for example with distrokid). Submit the audio to distrokid, then wait and upload to YouTube with video (without applying for channel monetization). That way you have it on Spotify, etc. and if someone copies the content youtube catches it and monetizes for you.
Method 3) A mix of both. First upload to distro, then to YouTube with channel monetization.
No botting involved in any method above (except for the initial monetization requirements for YouTube).
