Hello Dear BHW-Community,

it appears that I see a lot of good Information beeing shared here, for various methods in generating traffic. It's already a long time ago when I bothered myself with SEO and made some earnings through the amazon affiliate program. I remember taking key notes back then, which I also came across on this forum and that's especially low volume Keywords, buying intent, long tail. Why is that? Because you are almost guaranted to recieve some results, generate some income. Yes, with low volume I also mean weak or non existent competition in some way as it's often the case.

The thing about all that is: How do you monetize your traffic and for which monetization strategy are you preferably building? What are you looking out for and what are the monetization strategies of 2025. I know that it heavily depends on the traffic, niche and your keywords choosen, but for example back then was amazon very popular with some other affiliate networks, often for digital products. How does it look nowdays?

While back then it was amazon, you've build your research and strategies around it. It's one thing to generate traffic, it's the other thing to have an actual monetization strategy behind all your efforts driving cash home. You could also go for high volume traffic, no buying intent and having your money generated by AdSense, to bring things into perspective with this question. So which monetization strategies do you prefer? Which platforms are you working with?

It’s now harder to monetize Amazon with websites. Google prioritizes real product reviews, manufacturers, or major stores that sell the products.

For websites, I recommend monetizing with ads or creating a course based on a skill you already have and selling it.

Yeah, Amazon's a tough grind now. I've switched to promoting high-ticket digital stuff like SaaS or online courses. The commissions are way better, so you don't need crazy traffic to actually make decent money.

Email marketing combined with affiliate links brings consistent revenue if you build a list.

Monetization depends on your niche and traffic type. In 2025, affiliate marketing, AdSense, digital products, and email marketing still work well. Many now use mixed models — affiliate + display ads or own product sales. Amazon isn’t as strong as before, so people diversify with networks like ClickBank, Impact, or niche-specific programs.

How you make money really depends on your traffic and niche if people are ready to buy affiliate programs like Amazon or digital products work well if you have a lot of visitors who aren’t buying ads like AdSense can help.

Test and see what works best.
