I registered few mobile affiliate networks as a Publisher such as: pocketmedia, tangerine... and focusing on Android/iOS app download offers (CPI), what I'm going to do is adding these offers to my app/website or social network. I've heard about media buying method. Is that allowed for a Publisher? Does it mean I will work with other partners to advertise these offers with lower cost to get profit from original network that I registered?

Please help me to explain that method because I'm 90% newbies ;)

which geos are you running your offers? do you run with Incent or Non Incent traffic?

America & Europe are my main geo
you got it right, but only in case you buy cpi traffic. when buying clicks you pay for other websites' users to see your ad. by the way, in my opinion neither cpi nor USA, GB and other tier-1 countries are good for newbies. if you feel like mobile is your cup of tea, try start with direct billing subscriptions and tier-2 and tier-3 countries which are much cheaper to test. you'll also gain more experience with less money loss

Media buying is a allowed for publishers, and it is very broad, with a lot of tips and tricks, that you'd need to learn. If you are really planning to target US and European countries - get ready to spend a lot in the beginning. Probably you have noticed that the payout for offers of those GEOs are higher, than for example in offers for Asia and Latin America. This is due to high competition, and different perception of ads by locals. So @DariaWapEmpire is right advising you to start with Tier-2 and -3 countries.

Decide where are you going to promote - social media or your website? Or buy traffic on ad networks/DSPs?

And then come back for more advises ;)
