Mobile proxy vs ISP proxy for Instagram. I don't see the difference

I recently created a thread regarding reels not wanting to upload using an ISP proxy. I purchased a mobile proxy. It turned out that in both cases you just have to wait a few minutes longer and the issue cleared up. For the mobile proxy I paid $14 for 2 days and it turned out to be twice as slow as the ISP proxy for which I pay $2 per month. I've been using the proxy ISP for Facebook for a year and haven't noticed any problems, I've been using the Proxy ISP for Instagram for a month and the de facto biggest Reach I've managed to get on accounts where I've been using the Proxy ISP.

I would like to hear arguments from you guys as to why Mobile Proxy is better than Proxy ISP. I have not noticed that I get Bans for using Proxy SP I have not noticed smaller Reach. I am talking about people who mostly like me operate a few accounts, not 500-1000 xd

Maybe it's worth saving your money? And I will conduct tests now mo I have bought a mobile proxy, I have a new device I will work and we will see. If I do not notice any differences I think that it is not worth overpaying for a mobile proxy and isp proxy is completely sufficient.

Mobile proxies are generally for those running a lot of accounts, since they give added protection. If you’re only handling a few accounts and ISP proxies are working just fine without issues, then you're good. At the end of the day, it's all about what works for your setup. But yeah, you can keep testing, let us know. Good luck!
 
They generally have the same results like you said. The difference is when you scale up, I still prefer static ISP in a lot of cases though

mobile proxies useful if you have a lot of accs , but if its just one you can use just regular proxy one
 
The main differences are; Mobile proxies have many users using the same IP (they rotate aswell), since its shared via Cell towers; Residential proxies are static and are commonly found at homes (Think of your home internet).

Where did you buy your residential agent?
 
Mobile Proxies are always suggestable, you can comfortably use 1 Proxy for 5 Accounts.

Yes, if you only use 1 account, Proxy ISP is not a problem, it is useful and suitable for you.
Mobile prx is suitable for you to manage multiple accounts at the same time.
 
If you're not managing hundreds of accounts or facing bans, a reliable ISP proxy can be more cost-effective and just as effective as a mobile proxy for small-scale Instagram operations.
 
Your case is too small, so you can’t see the difference.
 
Totally valid point. If ISP proxies are working fine for your setup and you’re not seeing bans or reach drops, no need to overpay. Mobile proxies shine more when managing tons of accounts or aggressive actions — for smaller ops, ISP can be just as good.

Mobile proxies are more useful when you need frequent IP rotation, higher anonymity, or you're working in gray areas. If everything works fine for you now, stick with what’s working. which providers?
 
Valid take. If you’re only running a handful of accounts and your ISP proxy setup has been clean for both IG and FB, then you’re probably fine sticking with it. If you see no difference in either, then you could just use whichever you prefer.
That said, the real edge of mobile proxies shine when you're running dozens or even hundreds of accs and need higher trust IP pools to reduce the usual speed bumps in operations or soft bans.
For small-scale, consistent activity with aged or trusted accounts, ISP proxies work just fine. The extra cost of mobile proxies only really makes sense if you’re pushing scale, automation, or dealing with higher-risk verticals so it's really about cost-effectivity. Might be overkill and defo not cost-effective if you don't go there.
Smart to test both of course. As with most things, factors like setup, region, provider has a lot of effect and your mileage may vary. Real data from testing is invaluable.

If you’re just managing a few accounts and your current ISP proxies work without bans, there’s no real need to rush into more expensive mobile proxies.

Where mobile proxies really shine is when you’re running at scale with dozens or hundreds of accounts and need natural IP rotation and stronger protection against aggressive bans.
For smaller setups, ISP proxies can be perfectly fine as long as you’re operating in safer zones and things remain stable.
 
Do you know any providers that offer mobile ISP proxies priced at highest $5 per IP (MOBILE usage type). Or are they all like $30+ per month.
 
Continuing the testing as you are doing is the correct approach.
Don't listen to "mobile is mandatory" if your data says otherwise.
 
Hey, I’ve been thinking about this myself because I’m planning to set up 5–10 separate profiles in an anti-detect browser for my Instagram accounts. So far, I’ve been using my Android phones.

If I have 10 Instagram accounts, do I need 10 static mobile proxies for them? It’s just a bit expensive—I’ve seen monthly plans costing $80–$140. Or should I buy 2 mobile proxies and use one for, say, 5 Instagram accounts?

Or, in that case, use an ISP proxy since it costs a few dollars a month.
 
There's no much difference in the results you get from both, but Mobile proxies can offer more in protection depending on your set-up.
