At the moment, work as a sub contractor (Self Employed) for a car dealership. They sell cars, we valet it, and they set off into the sunset with their shiny new car. However, today i came up with a 'decent' idea. I realise the potential is there and the client base could become huge.
Idea - I believe the dealership sells close to 100 cars per month. That's potentially 100 new clients per month. Once their 'sale valet' has been completed, i could stick a business card with my details and so on, on the dash & see if it pays off, on every sold car. After a while, i figure the client base could become huge, with word of mouth taking over.....allowing me to leave the dealership and go it alone. However, i'm not sure wether the dealership would allow (I could just ask!) it or, wether they wouldn't give a fcuk wether i left a business card.
Anyone got any advice as to how they'd go about it?
I feel i might aswell exploit the opportunity to the maximum! What if just 1 in 5 wanted their cars valeting every month? That's 20 new clients per month + word of mouth referals!
Cheers
