Hi all, I need some help deciding on a micro niche website. I am using traffic travis to search SEO competitiveness and have found some very interesting leads. There are a bunch of keywords who are termed by travis as "relatively easy" however, I am not sure. It is a about a product that in my opinion should be very competitive, google adwords shows over 12000 searches for each of my five selected keywords (free version limitations). I want to take a plunge but am not sure. Your feedback will be welcome.

Another thing that I have found is that traffic travis is showing most of the long tail keywords as "relatively easy" in competition. google trends show that the kewwords have relatively consistent search volume. what i dont get is that even for searches 40K and above (long tail kw) the answer from traffic travis is relatively easy

Sometimes that's the case and you just need to snatch the EMD and run, but for 2-3 out of 5 keywords you picked out I am finding it hard to believe you are that lucky.

i can share them with you...just downloaded and installed market samurai...refining my searches after watching the videos...

heck..wait...i am pming you a the files

TT seem to be inaccurate someimes I would check the competition manually

With all the updates lately what used to be competitive keyword has gone soft because of the update

I was in a niches very competitive and the top 5 result was all affilate sites with solid backlink profiles but after the update those 5 sites flew off the google map and now I check with TT it shows "relatively easy" for the keyword

Exactly my point...it looked fishy that it would be easy to rank for the keywords...So how can i check competition manually, some pointers will be great

What update are you talking about? Penguin?

If the affiliate sites are gone, it means you have the chance to make up the slack or am i doing something wrong?

Well someone needs to ask this question...
Are you selecting "exact match" from Google Adwords before going into Traffic Travis, is that 40k broad or exact? Just making sure.

that's what i wanna ask too, Is that broad or exact? And is that EMD? And 40K results can be overcome very easily IMO

yes guys...these are exact searches not broad...only one long tail keyword had 40k results and thats what confused me as it was marked relatively easy
