Micro Niche Site Tips: Happy New Year!

Thanks for the info. I have a question if you don't mind answering...

I found a keyword that has 1300 monthly searches, with est. CPC of $5 and none of the exact domains are taken. My competition has PR 2 and 3 and between 75 and 2300 backlinks. Is this niche still exploitable or not worth it? Thanks

That looks pretty good on the surface, but its hard to say. PR means nothing when it comes to ranking in the serps... I have seen WAY too many examples of no PR sites outranking PR5 and PR7 to really take PR serious. I know it helps your site if your backlinks have PR, but I don't think your PR has a huge factor on rank.

You didn't say if your searches were exact, but if not that is a good niche. Please everyone, I have to ask you to quit giving me examples and asking me if your site will rank. There are FAR too many things to consider for me to give you a good answer.

thanks for the quick response :) and thanks for answering. yes the search is exact.

This is one of the most detailed I've seen...

I have been talking to guys since yesterday about these so this came to me at the very time I needed it...

I will be following this thread...

Thanks + Rep...

Thanks a million,

And have a blessed one...

Very good tutorial, I have to admit. I do pretty much the same. I am lazy and it kills me, but I think that this whole searching for exact keyword, low search count, and low competition is the new gold mine. Basically a plan for a noob would be to buy the exact keyword website, buy few unique articles, obviously do SEO, submit url and sitemap, duh. After that go on to next one. Luckily, you don`t even need twitter, facebook, myspace, and what not to profit from this, not even make it autoblog.
Obviously social websites would help, but they are not essential. Scale it up and watch the money roll, and by scale it up I don`t mean 300 websites! Well, depends what you are looking for.

Thank you for your kind words my friend, I really appreciate it. I have spent countless hours doing research and testing. This is a share I absolutely don't mind because there is an endless amount of niches to be tapped. I have spent so much time learning from and taking advantage of this forum, it's no skin off my back to help all you guys out! I'm just happy I found this forum a couple years back.

Q: What do you believe converts Amazon products better? blog type articles with links in them to amazon products, Wpzon, reviewazon type plugins? Price comparison charts (wp comparipress)? or amazon store sites like shopperpress themes?

thanks and happy new year

We are only a day after the Happy New Year and this thread steals the #1 spot for post of the year. Even though I knew most of the information, your post was very detailed and informative.

Excellent info. How much content do you have at one site? Is enough one 500 words article? What methods do you use for backlinking?

I have 3 question that keep bothering me.

1) when you create a micro niche site, how many articles/ content do you have to have on it?

2) How regularly do you add new content to the site?

3) if you do any article writing is it better to submit your articles to directories like ezine or just add the articles to your site?

Thanks

I'm also wondering about that Ip thingie. Do you have 100 different ips? do you link your mns together?

Thanks for taking the time to write this information. It is great to hear from someone about their experience with .info domains.

I have always avoided them but wasn't sure if I should avoid them. Your experience confirms my suspicions.

LOL, That was a lot of reading. but worth it. Thanks . I'll read in brief soon :)

Nice info there.I own many keyword sites so I'm interested in the - versions to buy them up as well.thanks again and have a great new year.:)

i have some question about .biz, can they rank well? how about their ctr, will ppl saw some thing related to business and scare away?

What is your promotional routine since you upload a site until you begin with a new one, please?

I mean submissions, articles,etc.

I think I am heavily overdoing my promotional activities, wasting too much time and getting my sites sandboxed!

Thanxxx
