[Method] Weight loss blog method

Hm, the idea is great, even if saturated. There are little additions you could make to improve on it. For example, instead of just posting once every few weeks, you could edit wordpress to make it look like your blog has been running for a few months and that the posts are old, this way, you wouldn't have to wait very long for your traffic to see that you are getting results and what product you used.

agree, ive always stayed away from WL thinking it was too saturated but last nite I decided to check out some keywords and found a nice little domain phrase available.

thing with WL is it's not going away ever so start building now and in the future you might have a decent earner.

obviously health loss niche is saturating but still I believe that every saturated market has a niche opportunity. Like teeth whitening for example which I heard hot today, I think it's a good back end niche.

Of course, if you wanna get that personal. But I don't think the blog will be a "fake" story for you.

Yep you could string people along with this quite easily, you could have posts such as I bought product x which I am going to try and lose weight with, then have a link to the site where you bought this and keep your blog visitors updated of your 'progress' on a reasonably regular basis

Maybe one blog per weight loss product, mix them up with good and bad product experiences with the bad ones pointing to 'alternatives' to try next

I think the whole "learn to speak a new language" flog could be the easiest route ever. Hire a group of monkeys to a write a bunch of gibberish about trying to learn XYZ language and slowly increase the pay scale until your posts start to make some sense. Make sure you pick the "I can do it motivational style posts so people can start to feel good about joining your journey to enlightenment and greatness." If you are supercheap and can't afford anything you can search and grab "feelgood" old PLR (private label rights) articles and run it through a whole bunch of translators to water it down for similar effect.

Then, slowly say "XYZ" learn to speak CPA or affiliate offer is really starting to work. And how you are now gettting jobs and opportunities and women and have now found success. Thanks XYZ offer!

And then send out motivational quotes and "You can do it too" kinda messages and cash checks. And put a PAYPAL DONATE button to some "Learn to read for underprivileged kids" thing in the sidebar and make it over the top. Don't worry nobody will donate anything and it won't hurt your traffic but it makes you look like a hero. And who knows, you might be able to sleep better at night.

Thanks ... it was done many times as people have said ... I guess one would need many followers to succeed, as getting high on SERP on weight loss is practically impossible... just check out who is there (webmd and giants like that) ...

on the other hand - there is another good niche regarding weight - weight gain

There are lots of twists one could do with this- it doesn't have to be weight loss.

I have been in the weight loss niche for years and although it has got pretty much saturated it is a huge pie, and you only need to find a few unsaturated keywords to be able to make some dosh.

I think it is a great idea anyway- just pick a less saturated keyword and product and blog your experience.

Why not try an ADD weight blog... telling people how to get fat!

It's twisted but you can still use the same keywords in reverse.

As long as you get traffic.

Fat people love to read about how other people get fat... the same why people to read about misfortune and other people's pain.
