[Method] Very Blackhat Offline Method

Very nice idea you have here. Do let us know what you are planning.

QRCODES can be used sneakily or on a mass scale without hesitation.

Go put a QR code on a bathroom stall and see if people scan it, either that or use a blank domain which redirects.

I guess this will work in china for sure.. 80% of china sites got a QR code i guess it is same about business

I'm not a bus wanker, so forgive me...

But do people even scan QR codes anymore? They seem to have died a death.

On the face of it, it seems like a great idea though.

Might be hard in the us. QR codes haven't really kicked in around here...

Nice idea, shame that in my country QR codes are not so big of a deal.

In this method, we'll use scanning codes for advertising.Looks pretty good for offline marketing.

Wow it's new to see someone think so out of the box. I think you should keep thinking on it and try tweaking it and twisting it to be unique and free of any legal issues. It'll work. There's a lot of ways to be creative with this.

Such a great idea, but doesn't work in all countries. thanks anyway.

Great thinking! Funny to find this because I started a very similar project about a week ago.

Shit, this is actually a good idea.

To bad QR code is not popular here in the U.S, the only time I see them is on xbox downloadable content cards or membership cards

As far as I am aware, they aren't in the UK either. In fact I guess they are barely used anywhere. I guess this would be a good idea for the kids who are looking to make $5 a week or so.

in my place,QR code is still like wild wild west..even website development is people see in only half of their eyes.

Yep they never became mainstream and just exist. Not worth the hassle and every fucking large city has free schedules, apps etc. anyways so good luck with this shit.

I'm pretty sure I've seen QR codes in a big Tesco recently. I think it was for price comparison or maybe more info on a product. Either way, I don't think the QRcode is completely dead yet. But it would be stupid to attempt this sort of thing in a supermarket!

SERIOUSLY!? A good IDEA?

- You can be caught by surveillance cameras while placing the stickers.
- A community will be using it - somebody will tell the authorities eventually. Guaranteed.
- You can be traced back really easy by the money flow. The PPD Network. The hosting... (you have to pay for it) probably more.

On the good side, you have a high probability of entering the news. Congrats, you are the most famous IMer now!

All of which can be avoided relatively easily. We live in the age of the switch and the electron - "following the money" doesn't work as well IRL as it does in the movies.
And surveillance cameras? Don't you own a fucking cap?

Your mentality belongs on warriorforum.

I doubt anyone is gonna get rich by following this method, however I certainly like the idea as a basis for more ambitious projects.

Also, regarding QR codes - yes they're hardly used anywhere. However you could use a short domain name instead which in many cases would drive in more traffic than QR codes anyways. I've recently started a flyer promotion and I decided NOT to use QR codes since I personally find it much easier to type in a website rather than having to scan a QR code.
