[Method]This method is bringing me 3000$+ with Ebay

That is an excellent way to make money. I use to do that a few years ago with broken iPods, Id get a broken one for little to no cost and sell it for a crazy amount of profit. Them it seems like people got smarter and knew their broken ipods were actually worth some good money and prices slowly started to increase to the point where it wasnt even worth my time to find a good broken one, repair it, then sell it.
So I quit.

Well you can also buy the repai guides on ebay and earn how to fix them and resell them this is a great to cash in I thought about this when I got my taxes last year.

Or you can make the same amount of money working in a store repairing electronics (computers, etc) and not having the hassle of buying and selling. Repairing computers for people (door to door work) is easy to make $300-$500 per day.

Just say advertise in local paper, say you will look at there computer for free o see if you can fix the problem and then pay per hour after that or something. Come on people!

PS3 was just an example because there are a ton of products there that can be fixed as same as the PS3.

HmMm... This seems to be a good idea. I have a friend who is good in fixing cellphones and I only have to pay him 5-10 bucks per cellphone.

This method is alternative if you are not making money.
but this is not perfect for some because it is not automated.

Almost nobody is running completely on autopilot. You've got to be doing SOMETHING to make your online business run. If you're not doing anything at all you'd better be preparing for what you're going to do when it comes to an end.

I mean some people put most of their effort in IM into programming, some into really good copywriting, some into market research. If you put your effort into finding, fixing and selling it's no different. That's your business.

i have been doing this with mid-high end watches for years. fabulous income. i don't do it so much anymore. but my little brother took over. we buy them on ebay and resell them on ebay.

I did the exact same thing and quit for the same reason. It used to be great when you get a ipod for half price and all it needed was a $5 battery.

I still have a bunch of broken ipod parts and even a few broken ipods laying around from years ago lol

Buy a car that doesn't run (usually 2-300$). Take it apart (if you don't think you can handle it I promise this is one area where there are billions of online guides). Sell the parts (locally or on ebay). I promise you that you will always come out ahead by a significant portion, even if you have to buy the tools the first time out.

Absolutely nothing to do with BHW tho, other then years ago I did this on CL (both bought the cars and sold some of the parts). I rented a storage garage to keep the parts that were valuable, sold the shell of the car to the local salvage yard w/ all the crap that was worth less then $30 still in it on it (which payed for the tow truck I would call the move the car from the owners place to mine).

It's a ton of work taking the crap apart and making ebay or CL listings for all of it, but it'll kick the shit out of a 9-5 if you ask me., and you'll learn a ton about cars on the way.

You say it's ridiculously easy with cars...how fast do parts sell? How much would you make per car? How do you choose which junk car to buy? I'd like to know more info...this may be something I actually LIKE doing if I knew more about it.

Thats true but some people here as i can see are newbies and says that they just want an automated system and i'm pretty sure that they aren't making much money online in the way they thing that the moneys come without working.

Simple ideas often make the best money..

@OP - thanks for sharing a pretty good method. It isn't for everyone since it requires technical skills, but for people good at tinkering this can make some good money.

I was doing the same thing with laptops a few years ago. You could pick up older laptops for pretty cheap that really didn't need much to fix them. As time went on though the one's available for repair will either cost too much to repair, or they're so old that they don't have enough value after they're fixed. Tried the same thing for cell phones for a short time, but there's too many things to worry about with cell phones. So I pretty much moved on from the repairing electronics.

You gave me a few ideas of some other things to look into though so I'll be taking another look at a few things on ebay again.

If it seems like too much work to you, then it probably isn't a good method for you. That doesn't mean it's too much work for everyone. Some people actually enjoy fixing things like this. For them the method not only makes some money, but gives some enjoyment as well.

They always say that it's best if you can combine your interest in a hobby with you'r plans for starting a business. It's usually crap advice because not all hobbies are really marketable. But when there is a market it can really work out well for some people.

just to clarify a few things , me being very experienced on eBay and doing this myself once n awhile. It doesn't require much technical skills , there are dozens on youtube videos showing you how to do this.

secondly , you can NOT make 3 000$ per month. The ONLY way youll get a ps3 for 20$ broken is one with NO hardrive and NO cables. So you need to buy those + shipping + ebay fees. Take into account that there's not an infinite amount of these on eBay + your competition will be bidding on those broken Ps3s also .

Be a little creative my friend because the PS3 was just an example.
Don't forget there are phones , nintendos , X-boxes and a lot of other digital products that you can fix.

Even if you don't know nothing about fixing them believe me if you just do a little searches on google or in youtube you will get a lot of great tutorials.

Let me give an example of "theoretically" what can be done with this method using a twist... Fair warning, this will be old news to some, and brand new to others.

Go to ebay and search for guitar strings - copy an auction that seems to be getting a lot of action on guitar strings - now put your own strings up for auction (I know you don't have those strings yet so relax).

Now when people come to your auction tell them that you'll give them the supplier where you buy strings so that they can buy them at your own cost (give them a link to click on that goes to a lead gen page but does not directly sell anything so that they will opt in to your list).

So now you are list building for people who buy guitar strings - So ultimately your auction closes and you just go buy strings from some other auction and have them delivered to your own winning bidder.

But now you have a little grip of string buyers on your list.... you may have made a profit on your auction, or may have had a small loss - but that doesnt matter because now you have a list of string buyers.... So now start sending them aff links for tabs, guitars, and anything else you can think of guitar related... a single sale or two will put you way ahead of the game financially, and it's a super easy way to build a tight niche list of buyers.

Try it out - it works 100% of the time if you just apply a bit of common sense to the equation.
