Which part is outdated ?

I think the principle behind my method is still very useful.

But please feel free to create a new updated version, im sure many people will find it useful!

Another awesome thread with an easy illustration. I am glad that somebody resurrected it. I don't see anything outdated here, I am still using this approach along with other tools to do the keyword analysis.

After two years of being up, certain things have changed, not saying your info is outdated. But let's face it...SEO and keyword tricks change much more frequently now compared to 2010. I might find time to skim through all 15 pages of posts and collect all the tips that have been added, then add your base method, plus add some new steps = now we have a rockin new method :)
 
Thanks man, your information and all the bits and pieces found within this thread have really helped me out. I have found a few niches with low competition and will begin ranking them shortly. :D

This tutorial seems great it's the basics that someone needs to know if you want to start something serious.
 
I know the post is couple years old, but the basic principles are still great for us newbs and give us ideas and develop our

I also knew about the inurl: ect but not that last page checker, awesome

Great work, glad to see people helping noobs like me :). I want to ad one step more: search webs with the KW in the domain. It will be hard to beat em. If you found lots of them, think to go to another target.

I don't know why my results for kw are so low when i search with google kw tool. When i search with "exact" mode results are near zero, an i tryed general kw like "hire website designer" and i see only 590 results for all united states.

Can anyone help me with this?

Its coz there are only 500 od people that type that exact keyword in Google every month....

try finding other keywords....
 
Thanks for your anskwer,i'm stuck with this step. Let's see another example:

Kw Hotel in Madrid, in UK english lang.

For generic match: Hotel in Madrid 1.220.000 Gr and 49.500 lr
For exact match: "Hotel in Madrid" 1600 gr and 260 lr
For phrase match: [hotel in Madrid] 6600 gr and 1300 lr

Is a really simple kw, but, only 260 local results in ALL united kingdom?

I'm lost cause all kw i search have few results in any case. Same story for any kw of three words.

How select the kw for your seo campaign when anything result is below 100???
 
Consider investing in a keyword research software... might be able to dig up some good keywords with premium research tools.

Also check the download section... im sure people have shared premium tools
 
Thanks for your help, i tryed Market but it don't work well. I see a post from another user having problems too. Maybe in the download section i can found something usefull to resolve my headache.

I love this forum.
