After all steps are complete you will receive full license for TT Pro to that email you have entered in the registration page.

It's not a pro licenses its a basic license anyone can get. I just installed it with said code and no bueno. Thanks for trying though

Indeed it's a great tutorial, but I'd love to have the interpretation of the TrafficTravis results for a given Kw!

The way you did it with PR & Age, but with the rest of parameters and the difficulty rating (stars).

What would be your limit for a Kw with TrafficTravis, please?
 
This is really a great tutorials for beginners, thanks.
Only one thing is imho not accurate - average CPC is COST per click, for advertiser, which means publisher gets I think 68% of this price.

That is a very tough one. You can rank for pretty much any keyword with the right SEO and with enough funds. But since your asking, I take it your not very experienced in SEO so I would recommend you leave the keywords that show with 2 stars or less (difficult and extremely difficult) until you have had some more experience and have a reliable SEO strategy to take on those type of keywords.

I am not 100% on the Cost per clicks and how much % you will earn some say you get 30% of what the adwords tool shows you some say more others less.

It should be used as a guideline to give you an idea about your keyword(s), if its a money keywords (that advertisers bid on and thus also make it much more likely that your viewers will click) and to give you an idea of what you will earn per click.

You dont want to go after keywords that get 20K traffic but is only showing as $0.03 per click in the google adwords tool.

Its more as a guide line if your going to use adsense on your site so you not going after keywords that advertisers pay $0.05 per click (which would mean you get a penny or something).

Of course in purposes of this tutorial it's not relevant but sometimes details are bugging me :)
Publisher gets 68% of the CPC price, I have this number from some annual google report.

This is because you've entered an email adress in which you previously had a free reg code with. Try a new email adress and it will work.

Many thanks to the OP for posting this, cleared up a lot of confusion. When you enter insert inurl:"keyword" inurl"keyword" you'll get your real competition. But until how many sites would you still consider going after the keyword?

When starting out, I would stay away from anything with more than 50K - 100K competition.... BUT that is me, that is still very competitive and you will need link wheels, high pr do follow links, article links, directory links and xrummer links to take on that sort of competition (all of those can be bought in the market place) .

Ideally you want to go after keywords that have less than 20K competition!

But then again if you find a keyword that gets 100K exact searches every month and the PR avg. , age avg. , link avg. is low, and the &start=990 show something like 15 page - 20 page then go after it, even if in "quotes" it says the competition like 1 million.....

SEO is hard to explain, its all about testing and finding out on your own what the best method is for you...!

Just take action and find out.... that is the best way to learn. You have more then enough info here to get you guys going.

v4 is not released, if there is a v4.

use the info already given by IAMNRE
and take action on it

Yes, version 3.3.8 is the current version.


From the changelog.txt:

Thanks for this information. This is what I was looking for.

When people say to me "do keyword research" im thinking what for exactly? I know my site, and I know what keywords are best to find my site, so why do i need to research into keywords?

Could someone clarify the purpose of finding keywords that return a low number of google results? The only thing that comes to mind is, if i can find a keyword/sentance that returns a low number of results on google, then I should write a unique article based on it, eg: intitle:"How to Apply Makeup to Dry Skin" returns only 5 results on G.co.uk so my thinking is that if I write an article about it and ensure I follow SEO strategies such as using "How to Apply Makeup to Dry Skin" in the title and also in the URL, I could/should get a good G result?

Or am I not seeing the obvious reason?

Its a typo right?
You mean inurl+intitle, not inurl+inurl ? I am just wondering because author wrote inurl+inurl and I thought it was a typo. But when somepne else posted it I thought maybe its part of the research along with inurl+intitle ... ?

Yes that would be great. Like how actual strong are these top 10 links and what kind of methods do you need to beat them.


Also:

whats the deal with &990 thing:
it says 53000 results but when you do it and get only 74 pages its actually only 740 (74 pages *10 results) results???????? I am lost here? So where are the rest of those 53.000???


Last question about last step and doing top10 results inspection:

Do you still put your keyword in quotes there? Because people searching for that keyword will most likely be NOT putting in quotes, so in order to see which the real top 10 competitors are you need to remove the quotes doing that last step? :confused:
