[Method] Starting from Zero (well $22), to getting your $3000 per month

Nice write up it's short and sweet. Can you elaborate some things about the FB marketing?
Did you contact people from your personal name profile? Was it branded with your business (avatar, cover background, etc)? Or did you contact them from your business page/profile?

Uncutu, actually I was contacting them by email. I didn't want to risk my personal profile, and when I started I didn't know you could buy Facebook accounts. I do think you'd get better results by contacting them directly from Facebook, especially in the numbers. Around 50% of the prospects I found did not have their emails on their "about" on Facebook, so I would have saved a lot of time doing that.
I'll try this twist and hope it brings results, thanks for the idea.

Nice share op, reading your whole thread I can realize that your methods are really enough for making $3000/ month. Newbies have a great chance learning few tricks from these journey. I love your targeted plans($10, $35 and $120). I think if anyone can decorate his service in these way then must he'll get more sell. OP, What about starting cotes?

SEMWORLD, not sure what you mean by cotes. If you meant like quoting based on personalized service, I found it to lengthen the buying cycle, and also some paranoid people will think I would charge based on their wallet (which is probably what would happen). I wanted to make the buying process as quick as possible so I could close clients in 1-2days and move on. What are your takes on that ? Did you get better results with personalized quotes ?

Thanks !

It would be harder to scale out messaging in FB since they do limit messages, and also their spam filter has big hands.

But you could also scrape the website from the about page, then do the contact form marketing manually or with a submitter.

The submitter in my sig has a spinner and short code features that allow you to spin each message so it is unique.

Essentially, doing the method and building a lead system set up similar to the dynamics of this one: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/841544-new-secret-method-revealed-best-method-shared-bhw-long-time-newb-friendly.html

I did not know they limited the number of messages on Facebook, thanks for that information. I am an avid user of Paigham bot, and the spinner is very useful to make the messages unique.
I saw this video from the newsletter, it gave me some ideas. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I haven't found a way yet to scrape the URL directly from a Facebook page. I can scrape facebook pages, or URL from bing/google/ask, but I don't know how to do that from a list of facebook/IG pages. Any tips ?

This method works with any service or product, whether you are providing it yourself or outsourcing it. Actually, outsourcing is the KEY to make a lot of money per month, handle a lot of clients at the same time, free up your time as well as focus more on what you do best, which is getting new clients (if that is what you really do best). However, before reaching the point where you outsource everything, you need to test the people you are buying from in the first place on your own sites not your clients' ones. You can't just get a client, order some service here and be done with it. It's a double-edged sword - it might work wonders or it might fuck you up really badly and you don't want that. Reviews won't help either, as most of them are faked in the sales threads.

@OP: Really good method, thanks for sharing. Getting new clients by scraping pages and then contacting potential prospects that the pages follow is a clever idea. The whole thing can also be automated pretty easily, except the part where you send personalized messages. Or you can get a VA for less than $300/month to gather clients and send emails all day long.

I think I can guess a book that we've both read ;).

Good share

Hello, thank you very much for such a wonderful method. I was thinking about something very similar but with a few differences I will definitely include this method when trying to get clients.

A few quick questions:

1. What subject line do you use? Do you just use something like "Hello [name]" or something which mentions your online presence service?

Do you think this method is suitable for a noob and would this work for full fledged social media management? Like facebook, instagram, twitter management but of course the prices would be higher.

Sincerely, Bekti.

Bekti, this is how I started into IM, so I would say it's the noobiest method ever. It's basically using standard business development/sales technique like we used in the jobs I worked in (major corporations), it's not really blackhat or anything.
You don't need a top of the line service to sell, you can start small with lower prices and build your portfolio from there.

My subject line is usually "working with you" / working together / "social media management collaboration" . If you're not mass mailing, try to do "[CLIENTNAME] and Bekticorp, social media management". The open rate is a lot higher if you put their name/company name in the subject.

I currently use this method selling social media management services and it works well. You'd look for people with low social media presence, or who have a lot of fake likes, and start from there.
Avoid using scare tactics (see the thread I mentioned from Skyebug77), just while talking to people of interest tell them something like "I think the previous agency you were working with has bought you a lot of fake likes, that hurts your engagement rate". They obviously haven't worked with an agency but it's a smooth way to let them know you see what they did there.

I hope I answered your questions. If you have any of your tips don't hesitate to share too !

Thank you very much yherrliche, well my basic Idea would be to create an ebook about your niche and then try to distribute it of course there would be a link to your service in the ebook somewhere.

I would like to know if you could point me to some resources about email deliverability and any good ways to go through the spam filter because that seems like the hardest thing to do in the method?

Sincerely, Bekti:)

Thank you so much for this! Seems so simple but it gave me a great idea for a twist that I can use right away! You don't know how excited I am right now! Hahah

Why create e-books and sell them for peanuts (or even give them away for free) when you can provide services that offer value to the businesses and get paid EACH MONTH a substantial amount of money? Remember, your target audience is mostly local businesses, corporations (although I doubt you will get any business from their via email), mom & pop shops, artists, famous people, etc... anyone that obviously needs a service to improve their business. Do you really think a businessman would open their email, download the book and then read it? You are lucky he will even open your email and that will happen if you have a catchy subject line.

Distributing free e-books and embedding links in them that point to your services or affiliate products is an awesome idea, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't apply in this situation, traffic source or target demographic. Not to mention that unless you are a copywriter, you need someone to properly write the e-book if you want to stand any chance of the businesses reading it.

Thank you for your feedback any criticism is always well received. That is the question how to get local business clients now that you said it I believe that the best way would be to use this method in order to gain some experience and a little bit of money since it seems like a method that can produce real results if you put in the work, do A/B testing, etc. and then to just go on facebook or some other directory websites, get a lot of numbers of local businesses do some research if they have a facebook page, etc (You could hire a VA to do that) and just to cold call the businesses with an offer that sounds good. Everyone knows facebook and if you tell them that you will find ways to get them on it they should definitely be enthusiastic. What are your thoughts on that, any other Ideas which you might have?

Sincerely, Bekti.

Well, I believe you get experience by trying out. So, don't be afraid to use this method to contact local businesses and sell them your services. You are also doing it via email, which is a lot more comfortable and a lot less stressing than talking on the phone. To find local businesses on FB, either do it by keywords (search for keywords related to the business and see the results that come up) or get a directory and start searching the businesses' names on FB. Even better, scrape Yelp and other related sites. Then, go on like the OP did it - get their email & contact them or message them directly on FB. It kinda deviates a bit from the original method, but use whatever twists you can to make money!

It's good to see a new member post such a thread. Very useful informations for not only newbies but everyone.

Having this strategie in use , you can manage to make it more easier with the help of some plugins and BOT.

I'm doing this for Years and this is a very good way to start making some good moniz !!

Thanks for the Share .

Thank you, OP, for posting this. I appreciate it.

I have some special twists of mine to mix with this so I am sure it will work like charm.

I have to agree with Thunderelvi on that one, why suffer writing and re-writing an ebook to get peanuts when you can provide a service, help people and business, and make a lot more money. Maybe that's just not for me, who knows.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I'm happy I was able to help.

Thanks op this is the exact same thing am working on but mine focuses more on authors. I would suggest you also find a way to use forums and also use facebook groups.
