Shopify has acquired Tictail and the Tictail marketplace will close on April 1, 2019. And because of this, they are providing Tictail users with FREE 6 months of Basic Shopify Plan (actual cost $29 pm).

Steps to get the account:
Step 1: Go to https://tictail.com, create a Tictail account.
Step 2: Go to https://www.shopify.ca/o112bf
Step 3: Signup with the email ID used in Step 1 to create the Shopify store.

Congratulations! You've got the Shopify Basic Plan for 6 months plus up to 1 hour help from Shopify theme support team.

Won't work with an USA acc either - what could be wrong with this... any extra step on the Tictail acc before signing up to the free 6 months shopify?

Could it be CA only?

Seems like they're not allowing us to create a new store. They've disabled the link (https://tictail.com/dashboard/store/) for new stores.
I have an old store and maybe that's why they're offering 6 month free Shopify basic plan to me.

Anyways, you can get a PA 37, DA 84 profile link by adding your link in the profile section.

Actually, I created an account few months back, mainly to gain a backlink and some sales through their marketplace. They recently asked me to switch to shopify with 6 month free plan as shown in screenshot above.
I guess, if you have an old tictail account, you can get this.
