Hey guys,

PILOT
Here is a method to remove the botted followers from your social media accounts to strengthen them in the eyes of the platform and all other positive mumble jumble.

WHAT IT DOES
It removes the users with a default images, which in 90% of the cases happens to be a bot.

But as @Jeepy pointed below, they are not always bot! Still, most of the default images are bots and even if they are real, they never interact with your content, driving down your engagement rate.

So, I'd rather have 1 less follower but you have been warned.

Don't do this if 90% of your followers have default images.

METHOD
  1. Go to any other social media account that you wanna try this on (I tried on Twitter)
  2. Go to the followers tab
  3. Right click and go to inspect element
  4. Go to the source tab (on the top of inspect page)
  5. Copy and paste the code at this pastebin link:-
  6. Done, sit back and treat yourself with a coffee while the magic happens :)
DISCLAIMER
I just came across this on the Internet. It works for twitter. Haven't tried it for other platforms but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't.
Cheers and let me know your experience.

Default image does not always mean the profile is a bot.

Yep, that's true but most of the default images are bots and even if they are real, they almost never interact with your content, driving down your engagement rate.

I'd rather have 1 less follower but regardless I'll update my thread

Thanks :)

People should be careful in starting this because, not everyone's fan-base is tech-savvy or interested in having a profile photo.

By not having a profile photo, it doesn't automatically mean those users are not invested or interactive with your content.

But I guess it's the closest thing right now to removing a lot of unactive profiles, at least with this method. Still, thanks for sharing! :)

OP, it worked for my insta as well. Removed some 30 followers of the 350 I had.
Thanks

Most of the panels provide followers with DP these days. A lot of them have a normal looking profile along with bio.

Hello,

thanks for this, I have 126,000+ followers and it said removed 0 eggs? Is this correct?

I wouldn't try this, personally I have a default image there :) It would be interesting to see if someone kicks me based on this method xD
