[METHOD] Referrer Spam 2023: $100/week (Scalable & Blackhat)

The biggest downside of this method is getting a list of active sites.

Not just any site but sites that posted content recently, like last month or at least this year.
So that you know the owner is active and checking the stats. For this, we need to scrape BIG G.

You don't want to send traffic to dead blogs and waste resources.

I am trying the method with a 10K list of wordpress and youtube channels.
I am visiting them with a python script that change the referer but i receive only 17 visits...

I dubt that people see the referer in their analytics. Expecially with Google Analytics 4, it's very hard... also in Youtube Analytics it's improbable.

I dubt that with 17 visits i can make a sell. Also with 100....300....1000 visits from people that are looking their stats, i dubt that i can make a sell.

Somebody has profit with this method. I think it's ver hard to have profit eith this.

I have website and currently monitize with Adstera . But daily traffic olny 3-10 per day.

How can i use this method in my website or how can earn money from adstera ?

I am confused , please give me guideline

It is, but you have to target analytics that show referrer directly like WordPress stats, blogspot, shopify, wix, squarespace, and most of the "GDPR Friendly" analytics services.

And I "made" approximately $50 out of it, most of it I couldn't get out due to minimum withdrawals. But it is a proof of concept.

Once I realized that it works, I attempted to build something on it that is completely masked and looks very legit, it worked too well for the first few days. However, I got false phishing reports on my domain, so I stopped the whole operation.

It really is a numbers game, 10k websites isn't going to give you lots of results.

I think @lepura mentioned that he is doing something similar right now, he didn't update today, but hopefully he does soon.

Yup, I managed to find a way, but slower than I would like. Something like 15k/websites a day.
Once I figure out something faster, I will post it here.

That is what I said since early of this post. I have doubt on this method. There are many tool, add-in to remove referral traffic, in this case it is ghost traffic and also people are easily to notice that with further look at bounce rate, duration, etc. People regular check their traffic must have knowledge about these parameters and probably remove ghost traffic. But anyway, welcome everyone for trying. Maybe someone can twist this method, who know.

There is already so much proof that it works. This method existed for years. It really depends on what analytics you target, this is why the focus here is WordPress, because the default analytics are so simple, they just list the referrers at the top, and once you click on one, it sends you to it.

You could just search up "referrer spam" on Google. Wonder why there is so many case studies and articles? because it is a real thing.

Well, if you don't see how it can be used, then am not going to argue further. I showed my stats, others did as well, some claimed that they have used the same method before and made money on it.
Why I believe my implementation worked?
Because I visited sites once or twice, and if site owners noticed my visits and came to my link, then they must be either new, or have a site with barely any visits. And I offered them a "solution" to their low traffic problem, which is those 3 programs that sold paid traffic or SEO boosting, So, some bought.

I've tried with my own python script and got some clicks. It definitely works and I'm really so tired of people playing sherlock in every single thread instead of taking away something useful.

The method clearly has potential even if the he owns the API grow a brain and make your own solution if it bothers you.
 
That is why I only doubt, I dont say this method doesnt work. I also tried with my python code and twisted it. However, very poor results.
About targeting Wordpress, I still think it is up to people. For most people, when they are installing wordpress, I think they always install GA add-in too. Therefore, it depends on your scraped list (need to be active WP, with the poor knowledge admin, thats why they are interested in traffic affiliate). You guys can see that until now, all promising results come from traffic affiliate program. Other programs, I dont see that much success. But again, this is only my opinion. The idea is ok, how to use it depends on you.

I agree with you, @lepura is trying something different, I really want to see what he comes up with, and whether it would work or not.
