Now I don't know if this has been discussed on here or not already, but this is something that just happened to me. So I may be a little late to the party with this method but I thought I should still share.

Last week, I was browsing Facebook and out the blue, I got an invite from a Page. Not from a Friend suggesting a Page to me, but the page itself. I had liked a Post from them earlier in the day.

I didn't even know this could be done at the time. To make sure that this invite came from Page and not a friend, I went to the Page and saw how none of my friends liked the page just to be clear.

So I then played around with my Fanpage and figured out how that was done and I was shocked at how easy it was to invite a person not connected to your page, for them to like your page.

This is an awesome way to get targeted likes to your page and relevant likes since you can invite real people who had interacted with your page recently, so hopefully they will accept your invite, or there should be a higher likelihood they do when compared to a blind invite.

So since I dabble in Facebook advertising, I came up with a really quick method to get targeted likes and fast.

Step 1 - Find a Post on your Page That's Getting Engagement and Set Up Post Engagement Campaign

I'm not going to go into a long story here on how to target and set up a Campaign but to make things simple, say your post is about Prince, the singer, you'd target "Prince Fans" and "Prince". make sure you add just the country and language of the kind of fans you want. For all of my campaigns, it's US and English only.

You're targeting should be as specific as possible to narrow things down for this. You don't want it to be too broad.

But if everything goes well, you should have a post with this kind of engagement.

Step 2 - Start Sending Invites

Now here comes the easy part. If things go well with your targeting, you will hopefully have a post paying about .01 cent per click and engagement.

In my above example, some of this engagement was from paid reach and rest was due to its viral nature and from the shares.

About 59% of these likes were the direct result of my paid Ad campaign. The rest was organic. So that ratio's not bad and I paid about $26 for this campaign.

I then turned my ad campaign off since I just wanted some likes so that I can send invites.

To send invites, you click on the names.

This opens up a box like this.

You'd then simply go down the list and click the Invite button.

That's it!

My only regret is that this campaign was an old campaign and I wasn't sending out the invites as soon as I was getting the likes on the post but I still got a good return from invites.

So far, I've invited about 250 people this way spread out over 3 days and increased my likes just off of this method by about 100 people.

I believe I could have done much better if I had attacked this as soon as Likes came but I kind of stumbled on this method.

A 40 percent return from invites isn't bad so far.

Now, I don't know what Facebook daily cap is for inviting people. I wish I could invite all 4,000 likes in one day but probably wouldn't be able to so I'm playing it safe.

If anyone has some extra tips to add, please share.

On another note, I am in the process of building an army of facebook profiles to send out invites. So I'll be mixing this method in with that as well. I have 10 profiles up and running gradually and slowly working their way to max out 5,000 friends. Planning to add 10 more.

I'll also be using those profiles to share posts from my main fanpage and other fanpages to make those shares look less spammy and more authentic.

And I plan on creating a couple of Super Groups eventually by combining all friends from all profiles.

Just an update, I gave it a try and it worked. I could invite some users but I also realize that you can invite from posts that are not necessarily boosted, if those have natural likes and engagement they will work as well. ;)

Note- this method works only for pages bellow 100.000.

Yes, I've been doing this for a while :) It's the best way I've found to grow a page. My only question is what is the daily limit for invites? I can't seem to figure it out. I got a 24 hour block after my first day of doing this - and I can't remember how many people I invited that day.

Also- I'm not sure if the invite limit is cumulative (for the entire page / day) or per page admin. I currently have 5 other accounts set up as admins who are doing nothing but sending invites via Mass Planner

Yeah, it works that way as well. I was going to edit OP but can't anymore. I just used my example of using Facebook ads to speed up the process of getting likes to a post for those who don't have active pages currently or to expedite the process. The post in my example blew up quick and I'm about to do another one just to get a thousand likes real quick so I can hit those likes with invites as soon as they come in.

I wish I knew this answer as well. I just did the same thing as you. I have 7 other admins and added accounts to Mass Planner as well so I'm hoping that maybe there's a 100 daily invite limit and that we can multiply that by number of admins. I'm hoping that that's the case but don't know for sure. I haven't been banned yet from inviting but I stopped for right now until I get a new fresh batch of likes on a post coming in. I want to hit those posts that have at least a few hundred likes and reactions. My average engagement is 5-10 likes per post with most of those likes coming from people who already like the page. That's why I like using FB ads for this.

Groups are better than pages, and can just add emails to invite to groups....

I'll eventually add folks to groups as well but wanted to maximize the invitation for likes first before I spam and start adding folks to groups. I also have profiles set up that invite friends to like my page. Once that's exhausted, adding them all to form some super groups. Wait for the ones that will leave, leave and then start sharing things to group from my Fanpage along with allowing group members to share things as well but won't promote their links as often as mine.

I am trying to understand the method but not sure if I am doing so.
Do you say that you can invite people from other fnapages to like a post on your fanpage for free ?

No. What I'm saying is that for instance, you have a post that goes viral meaning that folks are just bumping into your post through other ways than through your Fanpage. For example, a friend shares it, likes it or something to make it appear in their news feed and they go on to like the post BUT they don't actually like your page.

As soon as they like your post, you have the ability to invite them to like your page. The sooner the better, I believe will give you the best results. In my example, I used FB ads to generate interactions. And as you can see from my example, I had 4.5k likes to that post so that's potentially 4.5k invites to people who may not like my page but since they interacted with my page recently, the invite would carry more weight and they will be more likely to accept the invite.

This method is a whole lot better than just blindly inviting friends to like a page because you are actually inviting folks who interacted with your page.

I didn't even know this feature existed until it happened to me the other day.

No - anyone who likes your fan page post that isn't already a fan can be invited. FB ads are just a quick way to get non-followers to like your posts.

Beautiful I will give it a try for sure!
thank you for sharing

Just to update: You can even share other fanpage's posts and get likes from that share as well. It doesn't even have to be your own content.

So if your page is low on content, find a page similar page in niche to yours or just find a post you think is an interesting share and share it.

Use FB trends as your guide. :-)

But you can only invite people who liked *your* share - is that correct? Or are you saying that you can invite people who liked the original post?
