I created a twitter account and after a few days and gaining followers I posted some with a link to chaturbate and now my account doesn't show up for any hashtags. I think if you post links on your tweets your account gets ghosted and won't show up in any hashtag searches.
What do you guys see?
Posting links in itself shouldn't be an issue. However if it's a direct link to Chaturbate, that might be the problem. Telling the truth i'm not sure about this one, because there are plenty of camgirls who use Twitter to promote their rooms, so for 100% legit purposes and i don't think that Twitter would ghost them for using a direct CB url.
Disappearing from the search is just temporary in most cases. If you want to find out if the reason is the CB url or not, stop tweeting the url or all together and wait 20-24 hrs to appear in the search again and post the url again. If you disappear this time again and it's really the url, purchase a domain, make a CB whitelabel, promote that and not CB directly.
If you take a look at the Twitter rules, there are several violations which can cause ghosting, from my personal experience these are the following:
- if you post duplicate content over multiple accounts or multiple duplicate updates on one account
- if you post multiple unrelated updates to a topic using #, trending or popular topic, or promoted trend
- if you repeatedly post other people?s account information as your own (bio, Tweets, URL, etc.)
Posting tweets with urls exclusively won't get you ghosted, you can find plenty of accs which do that and their tweets still appear in the search. If it's a clean url, like your own domain and not an affiliate url, you won't get ghosted.
