Wanting to give back to the Blackhat community, I'm sharing a beginners method I have personally used with success, and can be twisted nearly infinitely. Start a meme site Face it; people love memes. You can make memes of just about ANYTHING, but this method works best with original ones created by you. It generates retention traffic if your memes are funny/entertaining enough to go viral. You don't have to buy your own domain, I didn't. (if you're planning on doing more with it in the future I suggest purchasing one) Now I'm sure you're asking...how in Gods name will I earn money from simple images? The answer is easy my friend. You're not making money from the memes. At all. You're using the power of memes to generate targeted traffic since no one assumes you're making money with them. People won't hesitate visiting your blog. The money comes from Ads hosted on your blog relevant to your memes niche. If you made memes of Pokemon, you will choose Pokemon-merchandise ads to host. Get it? Choose a simple theme that can host photos and ads. In this particular case I chose the Anime niche, did NO keyword research mind you since it already has a following, I just enjoy Anime already (that's the key) If you want keyword research you may use Spyfu. Find images on Google based on the show and even target it to just one character if that's your thing. Make sure the images don't already have writing on them, another easy trick is visit Youtube and pause the frame wherever you want to take a photo, and simply print-screen it. This is where the work comes in...but every profitable method involves some. But it's so fun and gets the creative juices flowing I personally don't consider it work. Start coming up with clever phrases to add on your images. Be sure to use big, bold font in white with a slightly black dropshadow (makes the words pop out). If it's something you and your friends would read or laugh at, perfect. Things you'll need: Blogger or Wordpress Photoshop or similar image editing software (to add your own text and watermark of blog name) Video editor, it doesn't matter what one. Youtube channel at least 1-2 months old with monetization feature (something about older channels prevents banning) Adsense (not necessary but great if your video goes viral) Social Media I used. If you have other social media pages go for it. Facebook fanpage (to update with memes from your site and backlink your video and blog) Tumblr (for writing a simple but thought-out article with backlink to your youtube video and blog) Reddit after a couple days just for link juice. If you chose Anime, here's some ideas for affiliates (these are not connected to me nor affiliate links) Crunchyroll Affiliate Amazon (fits any niche) AnimeNation If all else fails, seek a reputable company and ask to speak with the Head of Advertising or Owner. If you can provide customers for them try discussing a business proposal. Once you get about 5 memes finished, post them to your blog. NEVER come off as a robot. Write what a human would write and fit a keyword or two inside. Gather some memes together and put them in a video. Add text inside for example "Awesome (show) memes for FREE" and "Visit www.yourblogname.blogger.com" "Don't forget to share us on facebook!" You get the point. Place your facebook and blog links inside the description. Write the title and be sure to include your blog domain. Now send these updates to your facebook, and begin writing a nice article describing your blog on Tumblr. Add your links just once and the job is done. You will need to rank your video! Youtube traffic is my largest source so use it. AddMeFast definitely works, or purchase 10k+ regular views from this forum (BigBuddy, Skittles just to name a few) Take note of your competitors view count and make it even. Organic traffic will come after this so feel free to boost with comments, likes, favs if you please. At this point I simply create about 7 memes, post them to Blogger but use the Schedule command, so one meme gets added every day. Next week do the same thing. You should also see your visitor statistics and what country they're coming from. Search for the latest news in your top 3 countries for inspiration on new memes (your meme responding to a political note and so on) This method can make you steady income and grows the more entertaining your posts. I didn't use an ad network in the beginning and banked a $1.56 cpc adsense ad. Try it with multiple niches lacking memes and you could seriously earn large, especially if your affiliate ads are popular. Have fun with this! Remember this is NOT guaranteed to break the bank, but should teach new kids how to connect with their audience and get creative.
