The reason being is that it is an old method that has worn it's welcome out as people have become more sophisticated.

This reminded me of the "put flyers on pizza boxes using your Netflix afflilate link" method which is old and probably played out as well. The pizza box method did work and I made a few dollars doing it but that was back in 2009 or something and I image this would have been good back then also.
Putting up methods from years gone by is detrimental to a lot of people as they will spend their money and time to try and generate an income. Lots of people come to this forum to learn and when someone puts up a rehashed method that died like Jackie Paper it is not unlike stealing from them.
OP, rethink your strategy to build cred, this one sucks and hurts people in their pocketbook and steals their valuable time.

OK the fact that I am bringing about a method that was used 5 years ago means that I'm trying to gain quick credibility? Just because a method was posted does not mean that it cannot be used again because it was posted 5 years ago. It's a reminder for those who read about it a long time ago and it's a new idea for those who haven't come across it yet. All I'm doing is trying to bring about methods that still work.
As for the joining the forum yesterday, I am a BHW user for over 4 years. I have only decided to use a new account recently as I have deleted my other email addresses.
No, I am not claiming the method as my own. No method belongs to anyone. It's simply a method that helps people regardless of who thought of it.

Yes true but college kids don't have to be the only source of traffic for this method. I found great success in promoting a dating CPA offer by hiring 2 pretty ladies to hand out flyers in town centre. I managed to make $600 in profit and also built a list of 120 from it in one day.
Just tweak the method to work for the area you live in.

Dude - it was a viable method 5 years ago, it is no longer one that will get you any ROI, on either your dollar or your time, that you would write home about.

Hmm, it could work well with a twist such as delivering leaflets through letterboxes but something that would work well like a survey to win an iphone 6 has a low payout (in the UK anyway) of $0.90 so would need to have a really good conversion rate, unless there is a CPA network I haven't seen which has a similar offer for at least a few dollars more.

If you spend $100 and your payout is $0.60 that means you will need to convert 166 people just to break even.
That means that you would probably have to hand out about 3,000 flyers just to break even.
That would take you forever and you probably can't get 3k flyers for such a little cost.
