[Method] Make $1000 a Month With Amazon - Newbie Friendly [Phase 5a Published!]

Do you think Amazon will eventually go down the route of only paying affiliates for the actual item linked?

Ebay has less traffic and will only pay a commission if the person buys the product they clicked on. This method, all you really need to do is get someone to click a link to amazon and they will have a 24 hour cookie on their browser and you will get a commission on anything they buy.

I don't think Amazon think tank is that mean! lol.

Don't worry, there is sufficient money with them to pay like they do now, and this is also a wonderful strategy which is keeping their affiliates highly motivated.

If they do what you say, then I think about 80~90% of the affiliates too will go away. Who will then work for them on just 4~6% commission, and that too only for the linked-items? It would not be "The AMAZON" then if this happens. :)

Finished the first month with $620. I invested about 22 hours in total and this month is still looking good on autopilot.

Currently creating SoPs for the method and planning to scale it up in a few months if I can find some reliable VAs in Thailand.

My website has been up and running for a couple of weeks now. Very detailed reviews with 3000+ words homepage. Have been posting in forums and traffic is slow. Also google have yet to index my website. I've done everything I can find to ensure it gets indexed. Hopefully will happen sooner rather than later then I'll start getting some organic traffic, Ahrefs shows I've 4 back links to my site so the links are sticking. I've gone for expensive niche so I guess sales will be less frequent but commission higher, hopefully get my 1st sale shortly.

so hit a bit of a brickwall. I am getting a lot of 404 errors, but the links actually work and re direct to amazon. I have all in all 206 link issues, i will post a screen shot. Should i urgently fix these or not too much to worry about at this point ?

First few months you shouldn't worry at all about being indexed or anything Google related. Just work on getting a bunch of conversations going in related forums and people discussing the products you compare. Once you've done it for a while, you'll start seeing a dribble of organic traffic as well and then you can start investing in guest posts and whatnot to get extra link juice.

Hi Everyone! Can someone pm me an example of amazone affiliate niche site? I haven't seen any examples, but i just want to start. I have already choosed a niche and i want to see how another pepole set up their sites.

Where do you find reliable VA in Thailand? ;) I mean the platform that you use

What does SOPs mean?

By the way, are you using other traffic sources other than forums right now? I have done what I can with forums for the time being and I want to move onto to other sources. Any suggestions?

a very impressive method here ... i want to start a similar one to ...inspired already

I've been using a popular keyword research tool and if I breakdown categories of the best selling stuff on amazon everything has high competition. I honestly cant see how I'll rank a niche site just posting blog comments creating conversation. Also a lot of products there isn't any forums or blogs, i.e who wants to talk about a toaster so how would you start getting traffic for a similar item?

I would also like to see an example of an amazon niche site or not even a site, maybe just some screen shots of a real converting site with sensative infos blocked out.

I have been reading through this thread for the past few days and today I finally finish up to this point. This thread has inspired me to take action, so I got myself a domain and took notes I think might be important/useful.

Here is what I have done so far:
1. Came up with $120 to invest in site.
2. Somewhat of a little keyword, product and forum research (I'm not good with researching, but I tried), I found about 15 forums to post to.
3. Bought a brandable domain name that has the potential to expand.
4. Install wordpress.
5. Here i'm stuck on content.

The reason I'm stuck on content is because I don't know what a good pillar and best post article should look like. I'm willing to order articles as I'm no good with writing, but I don't even know what instructions to give to writer

Can someone (meathead1234 or whitepassion) please show us an example of a pillar homepage article and "best" post article.

Hi you can find example sites. Just google amazon niche sites, various blogs come up with links to them. I would send you a link but I've not been here long enough.
1 site I've found is pick my shaver dot com (obviously you can work out the url)

I made a diagram of what it should look like in the first post. As long as it follows that layout you will be fine. I have seen numerous different approaches to pillar articles so there is no "correct" way to do it - just use your brain :)

I've finally found a niche that has low competition for keywords. Products $100 or more. Plenty of Amazon reviews. There is accessories to go with the products. Plenty of forums out there to post on. I think my first website will come to nothing as it's just to competitive to rank for. Having to start from scratch again but learnt so much getting the other website up and running so will leave that on the back burner for now and maybe I can turn that around in time too.

Anybody recommend buying an expired domain name that still has backlinks etc attached to it? I've seen a domain name that fits my niche and having explored the backlinks they're from various forums already, where previous domain owner has responded to topics that are to do with my niche, or getting a fresh domain a better option?

Hi! I want to ask a question about niche competition. Should I start niche if I counted exactly five competitors by main keywords? This is a small or a big competition?

There will always be competition. But you need to check how strong their websites are. Do they rank in google top 10 for the exact keywords? How many backlinks have they got directing traffic to their keyword? How old is the domain name?

Answer to these built a far better picture for me.

The first niche website I built, having now learnt more about keyword research, I'll struggle to ever rank without paying to advertise. The domains in the top 10 on google are well established have 200 plus backlinks pointing to them from various sources. Primarily private blog networks. It would be very difficult to come in at this late stage and try to outrank them, yes it can be done but could be over 12 months or more before I start to see any progress.

You need to look at you competitors and see why they're ranked in top 10. Then make a decision from there.
