That's BS. I live in Europe and I have a Payoneer account with credit card sent to my home address. I didn't tried direct deposit but as for me, I receive amazon payments to that account and I can withdraw from any ATM.
 
Should we insert the affiliate links manually by placing the html code Amazon provides or use a plugin? I can only insert text links for some reason, images won't appear.
 
I would also like some advise on how best to include the links to the products. Is it best to use the images from Amazon or what? Thanks

Blog commenting, forums, and FAQ sites like Quora and Yahoo is exactly what this method is based on, not worrying about the links you're submitting in forums, only focused on traffic...
 
There is only 1 normal forum in my niche I can post on. What should I do? :(
I already have a great looking website with posts. Can't give up.

What is the problem in using PBN to get some backlinks ??

I though a PBN was a method of making things appear a bit more "natural"

Find local forums that have the same questions being asked.

try looking for forums more general in nature but still related to your niche
 
I do not use the image with the affiliate link provided Amazon. Instead I a snipping tool ( since i am on windows) to clip all relevant images of the product After that I import the image in my article post, edit the image to add my affiliate link as custom url.

Install SEOQuake toolbar to check the real keyword density and keep it 1-2%, or check your competitor and see what their keyword density. I also found SEOQuake better than yoast because they also count keywords in the menu, sidebar, and comments; while yoast only calculate keyword in your article.

But, in the end i suggest to focus on writing quality article and actually answer people's problems. It would work best for forum traffic, if the article is bad, others might suspect you of spamming.

What I can't quite understand is how I can write a well written question and it not get answered. Yet this thread, and forum in general, is full of "Thanks mates for postings!" "How to find domain for 99 cents on this methods" etc etc (I hope you see my point). Now, not to be disrespectful to those who aren't native English speakers, but I wouldn't class my post as junk/spam/nonsense and something I would imagine a lot of people are stuck on. Now I know, that SEO wasn't the route (at least until now, phase 5a) but thought you would be able to share your expertise.

Just incase you missed it;

meathead, something I would like to ask is regarding keywords. I've managed to pick a niche however one thing I can't quite understand is selecting keywords for articles. For example, I know what someone would be searching for in my niche but what I don't know how to do is set a 'target keyword' for Yoast for the article to be optimised for. Do I select the keyword (potential title for article) and keep repeating that keyword several times in the article (I think you mentioned at 1% keyword density) and the rest of the article sound natural?

I do genuinely want to make a good, well written website for my niche and don't want the spammy type articles which are poorly written for 'apparent SEO optimisation' but I would just like clarification if I am on the right page so to speak so that the articles are 1) Good and 2) As 'SEO' optimised as possible without a compromise on quality.

Pick the title of the article as the focus keyword in Yoast. I just make sure it gets an overall "green" score - I don't worry too much about keyword density or any of the others, as long as it's green. Focus on readability over SEO, though. It's way more important to have something that converts than something that has a 1% keyword density...

Mate when you are creating your article in wordpress the yoast plugin shows up down the bottom of that page. Enter the keyword you want to rank for in the section provided. You will then get a list with coloured circles beside them. Change what ever you need to in your article to get most of those circles green and your site will be well optimized.
