Today, I will share with you simple yet promising process on how I made almost $400 selling a newly registered Instagram handle under 3 hours.

The method is no brainer and goes thus;

Find big Instagram handles with good amount of followers ( News, Fashion , Gist / Entertainment Niches works well )
Hunt for advertisers on these handles …
Majority of new startups would want these pages to influence their products / services.
Look out for promoted handles on these posts and see how best you can improve to make a new and catchy name up. Recently it’s been “BESPOKE” -- that word has been appearing on major handles that deals with clothing line.

Actionable Part:

After getting the new name registered... (You can login to many accounts on your mobile,you just need to switch) -- Let say you have “BESPOKE + (BRAND NAME)” … You want to make them know you’ve got them a new name right?

This is where the engagement aspect comes in –

You want:

“Follow" their main handle –
Like their recent pics – They might not have much yet. Just like all
Make few comments – Emoji works best for me…

YES!! We want them to know you’re up to something.

In less than 3 hours I have this:

Then Followed with ........

YES! You can Guess right! I made the SALES!

Then get the name changed !!

You can wait few days if they not messaging you -- Just Pitch the Offer to them... Domainers might understand the pitching magic better....

So, That's it, guys !! Enjoy .....

As far as I understand you sell them a name, not the account itself right? When they pay, you change the username, and then they can use that username which you previously made right?

but the question is why would they want to buy just a username ? This username is new and only liked/commented main brand's post. That's it.

Please elaborate the username part because most of us don't get what kind of word you added to their original name or how the new name looked.

The prospect is not a BHW/IM savvy person but rather someone who believes that the brand name itself has real value.

Sure, you and I would not find an IG account with no followers, activity etc valuable in general but these prospects see the name and the "hot KW" and think they have something that will end up making them money.

It's a decent idea and if the OP can nail $380.00 in 3 hours doing it the return on time is pretty solid.

The best ideas I've come across are often shockingly simple. Also I'm pretty sure others are doing this because if I recall it's in insta's tos that brands can simply contact them and take their name from any acc. Because according to their Tos the account technically belongs to instagram.

But small start ups aren't going to do that, and I've heard of people selling names to them.

Wow! This method sounds simple. I'm amazed that you can make such a quick big profit with this. I don't quite understand the entire steps but I understood what you did. I'll try and see if I can do this as well. But if I may ask, how did they pay you, what guarantee did they have when they sent the money?

From what I understand : you're impersonating big brands by adding some words in front of their official username and sell it to people who's looking to buy it, right? How do you convince them to buy an account with no followers?
